instagram is working, but you need internet for that to work.

mobile net is just average and satisfactory. thats what you get from the device's 7.2mbps HSPA (3G) radio.

speakers are loud, but sound quality is average. even louder when you play music with 3rd party apps such as Winamp or PowerAmp and loaded with Equalizer app.
atleast you get a free headset. hehe

If your default virtual keyboard is Touchpal Keyboard. then in compose message, click the gear button, 5th entry is the keyboard layout, there you can find the layout in portrait/layout in landscape settings
