How do you keep cardinals?

Do you go to great lengths to keep them in soft acid water? (RO water?)
Or will they do fine in slightly alkaline water?

Driftwood or talisay leaves.. your water will turn slightly brownish though murag tea

water softener just softens the water

RO goes thru a lot of filters... mas limpyo i dont thnk it softens the water though..

its a completely diff process.

The process of Reverse osmosis softens the water as a side effect. Sometimes an additional water softener module is used to prolong the life of the RO membrane. By stripping/replacing some of the hardness in raw water first , you lessen the amount of work the RO membrane must do.
