kolz: Yea mao lagi bro, na ganahan noon ko mo adto after seeing ur shots.naa bay barato na resort diha ma stayhan? barato but nice sad..
how bout sa san remegio resort? nindot ba ug view dha? kay migo man nko ang anak sa tagiya.. maka hatag cya disc.. but still a bit pricy..
but for special occasion, cge nlang..
thanks master markpreset man gud ako gi gamit ani na setting. next time.. dats y patudlo usa ko ninyo, kay wala koy alamats pa kaau..
btw, wats DOF? focus something? hhehe..
DOF=depth of field
meaning the distance between the nearest and farthest points from the camera that appear to be acceptably sharp...
and we usually say it in terms of how "shallow" or "deep" the DOF is.Â* and this is usually controlled by aperture but other factors include focusing distance*, focal length**, and film/sensor size...
the smaller the aperture, the deeper the depth of field
the bigger the aperture, the shallower the depth of feild
given equal focusing distance, focal length, and film/sensor size
the farther the focusing distance, the deeper the depth of field
the closer the focusing distance, the shallower the depth of feild
given equal aperture, focal length, and film/sensor size
the shorter the focal length, the deeper the depth of field
the longer the focal length, the shallower the depth of feild
given equal aperture, focusing distance, and film/sensor size
the smaller the film/sensor size, the deeper the depth of field
the larger the film/sensor size, the shallower the depth of feild
given equal aperture, focusing distance, and focal length
* the distance from the camera to the point being focused (camera to subject distance)
** distance from the optical center of the lens to the film/sensor when the focus is set to infinity; in digital we go by the 35mm equivalent

this had potential.Â* good use of leading lines.Â* but you lost alot of detail in the bright area of the sky.Â* go with a darker exposure by using a smaller aperture, faster shutter speed, or lower iso

this is a much better picture than the one above.Â* still with good leading lines but I like the ones in the above photo better.Â* I also like the way the bright area of the sky also falls right behind the subject to highlight it even more.

I like this one alot.Â* maybe just a tad bit more space could have been given between the boat and the right frame edge.Â* also the horizon makes a nice leading line to the boats but still the bright areas in the sky lost too much detail.

this looked really nice in the thumbnail... seemed like a boat in the middle of a sandy desert.Â* but it lost that in the enlarged photo.Â* a little lower angle would have made the boat sit on the sand and would have blocked out the water in the back if you'd have wanted to play around with that concept.

good silhouettes but alot of detail is lost in the bright areas.
and I find that oar sticking out in the middle of the photo rather.Â* either move closer to get rid of the foreground elements or reframe the picture to the left so the oar will come out on the right side of the photo.

well done!![]()

Daghan barato na resort didto bro amo gi stayhan libreOriginally Posted by pidz111

But if you just wanted to take pictures sa beach, stay lang sa baratohon na beach house (naay daghan) .. libre man mag suroy2x from one beach to another ... wala man nila kurala. What I like about San Rem is that virgin pa kaayo ang beach
wala pa ma commercialized ... dili parehag boracay na mura nag burik*t kay sobra na gyud ka commercialized.

My name is Nuel Somosa, and my wife has asked me to communicate with you re our project to print out calendars to raise funds for the construction of a YouthTraining Center in Cebu that would equip young people to become highly effective in pursuing their dreams and birthing it through better knowledge of Christian principles. In this center the youth will have a chance to explore artistic methods of sharing faith and building hope for their generation.
By the way, we are members of GBiz, a newly formed group of Christian businessmen and professionals in Cebu, committed to living and promoting Christian values in the market place.
Your name came to our attention as one of those whose heart is to invest in enriching endeavors geared towards a better life in our nation through your profession. We would like to ask you to be one of those who can help us make this project possible. We are looking for high resolution photographs of various Philippine settings, primarily natural or of nature with no manmade structures, showcasing specifically beautiful Philippine sceneries (popular or not). This is also our way of blessing and promoting our nation’s rich natural resources.
Your photographs, when chosen, will form part of your invaluable contribution to this project and will be acknowledged accordingly in the calendar. We look forward to hearing favorably from you as soon as possible.
Thank you and may God bless you richly in every way.
