hi mga sis, i hope ma revive pa ni nga thread.. PCOS pud ko..sa ako ra nuon right ovary.. regular mn akong mens ky ok raman ako left ovary..gi resetahan ko ug birth control pills (Dianne). Please advise sa katong na diagnose pd ani kng unsa maayo buhaton.. Then ka experience pd ba mo nga nang nipis inyo hair? Kay one of the symptoms jd ni nga akong makita prmi sa internet, and indeed, nangnipis jd akong buhok..depressing jud kaayo.. please help kung kinsa ninyo ka experience na ani and what you did..

sis, i also had pcos but so far nawala ra man.... i have complications due to pcos which somehow led to diabetes...according to my endocrinologist.

hehe.. super nipis pud ko ug hair, pero ingong nila excessive hair man daw ang PCOS, feel nako maupaw na jud ko by my 40's.. naa pud ko diabetes.. niagi ko ug way undang na mens(pirti ka hasol) pero murag nibalik na ko sa regular .. hadlok ko sa complications sa diabetes gani..
Gikapoy nako sa maintenance, try nalang ko as much as possible live ug healthy lifestyle...

Hello sis, unsa nga mga meds imo gipang take sis nga nawala ra mn imo PCOS?nya nakasuway pd kag thinning hair sa imong scalp sis as one of the symptoms?coz na worry jd ko ani akoa.. nipis na jd kau ako hair... please tell me unsa imong gi take for treatment so i can talk to my doc about it..hesitant mn ko somehow mu take sa pills sis gud..thanks a lot..

hi sis, ako pd nipis na au..nag start ug sugod ug kanipis ako hair since last year..then this month ko pa ultrasound and found out i have PCOS.. yes excessive hair pero sa face and abdomen (same anang sa mga laki) but thinning hair sa scalp nga area..mura jd ug kanang sa mga lalaki.. wala ka nag metformin diay sis?

@zambri: dili man gyud completely nawala but na-manage ra kay nabuntis man ko ron....years pud tawon ko sige tambal... i am also experiencing thinning hair. lifetime medication man ko sis due to my diabetes, i am taking metformin/glucophage, diamicron and if dili madala sa diabetic meds kay mag insulin shots ko using the human isophane insulin flexpen. i don't take meds anymore for pcos coz metformin alone somehow helped regulate my hormonal imbalance. naa gyud uban dili kaayo familiar ani na medication coz they would rather use the contraceptive pills samot na sa dili gusto mabuntis... if you want sis, you can see an endocrinologist/ob-gyne who can talk to you more on hormonal problem and what's best for you. coz mine's related also to my diabetes. kung gusto ka mabuntis ang ilaha kasagaran ihatag kay clomiphene and kung dili ka gyapon mabuntis they would add metformin to address the pcos.... talk to a specialist.

woah, nag nosebleed ko sa imong mga gipang take sis..mao mn pd na prmi nako mabasa sa net sis kanang metformin..
mao lagi sis, muadto ko balik sa ako endocrinologist, pa blood test npd ko to check for hormonal imbalance and to check my blood sugar para ma resetahan ko what's best for me jd..daot man kaayo ko sis and gi advisan ko sa doc nga mag lose pa jd ug weight!what!!??

nya sis, akong gika worry rn is my thinning hair..nidako na ang tunga sa akong hair.. scary kau tan-awn,.,.na address ni nga issue sa imoha sis while on medication?

nagmetformin ko murag 1 month pero sakit kaayo itulon ang tablet.. okad kaayo .. undang nlng nako..

naa pod ko pcos naftake ko metformin 3 x a day di ko ganahn kai wai lami i eat og food ... we plan to have our 2nd baby last yr december kai wa ko gi mens for 2 month i thought im pregnant den magtest ko permi lang negative kulbaan nako because i know its not normal gyud so i visited an ob iya ko gi risitaan og metformin den she ask me if gananhan ba ko magbaby i said yes kai dako napod gap 4yrs old na ako bb,, iya gi apilan og vitamin e den she told to come back ing 5th days sa ako menstruation iya napod ko giresitaan og pills na mahal kaau 100 plus ang usa good for 5 days.... im so happy kai after dat im 1 month pregnant na.. ill pray to have a healthy baby napd.. ^_^
