your erfat as a point because ang goal man gud nila is to create generational wealth.. kana bang wealth nga mo-last for many, many generations.. it's passed down from children to children.. which i think is good. i mean what could be better than being born into a financially wealthy family where money-wise you're already set for life, di ba? that way, kana imo'ng sarili'ng salary, it just goes towards saving for the future of your own children since your own parents saved up for you.. so financially set for life na sad ang imo'ng mismo'ng mga anak. maayo dyud ni nga pa-agi.. and it's never too late for any of us nga ing-ani-un sad pag-plano ang atong financial future..

I doubt you'd find very many. Voice your opinions with the knowledge that they are mere opinions.
pero tight man dyud ang grip sa mga chinese sa ila'ng own culture. like my cousin, bisan half-chinese lang siya, she has to speak chinese at home. and she and her siblings, chinese dyud ang ipa-minyu nila tanan.

and i-consider nato nga daghan man gud chinese sa pilipinas nga 3rd or 2nd generation immigrants and they migrated on their own free will. whereas ang mga african-americans kay dugay na dyud sa america... nya kanang mga african-americans, their ancestors came from different countries in africa, seguro mostly gikan sa western coast sa africa, and kato sila lahi-lahi'g languages, cultures, etc. nya gi-da pa dyud sila's america against their will, so wa silay choice kundi mag-intermarriage ug kalimtan nalang ang ilang individual ancestral culture.

yes. i've learned from this thread. i've realized things that other people noticed. i've also learned how they see things. and actually, i've also noticed that not all of the posts are biased. some of them may be, but it is, i think, up to the people concerned or affected.

when you say 2nd or third generation it means they didnt have a choice na. their parents or grandparents migrated for them. i may be chinese in blood and in culture but im also also a filipino. my grandparents migrated from china. my mom stil remains a chinese citizen but my dad was granted his filipino citizenship hence were filipino citizen na. in fact ive never even left the country. and my mom shes only gone to hk and china once. my dad i dont think hes even gone there. jst to taiwan and singapore and all these were jst for a few days.

this topic is somehow created for people who'd want to post their opinions on our fil-chinese kabayans so the concerned would be informed of what people think of them. and if they think something is wrong, then this'd be a wonderful chance to defend yer side. this could also help me, or anyone for that matter to understand or get hints on the probable reason as to why our fil-chink friends act, behave or live this way as far as their culture/heritage/lineage is concerned.
