walay virus ang mac ug iOS, unlike Windows. worth it gyud imo mabayran.

iya & ako gisulti walay virus ang mac but we did not say nga dili jud magkavirus ang mac osx. in other words nihit ra kaayo ang virus sa mac osx that they are practically non existent whereas sa windows, expected na jud ang virus. i hope na-clarify nani siya nga argument.

ang virus or to be more precise, malware nga ako pasabot kay kato mn phishing scheme whereas naa jud prompt sa screen to key in your apple id & password to sign up for a free security software kuno.

the trojan flashback issue you mentioned, wala ko na-aware ani coz wala mn mi even 1 incident report about this issue diri sa university, anywhere in kuwait or at least as of this writing, even anywhere in middle east & europe. that's according to our contacts here.

and besides, you're basically making a mountain out of an anthill sir. according sa website imo gipost, 600k mac users or just over ONE PERCENT of the worldwide users. that is still pretty insignificant to make a big fuss about mac osx being weak.

Jailbreaking is not illegal. Downloading cracked apps is.

and speaking of 3rd party vulnerability, mao na kuntra jud kaayo na ni steve jobs ang flash coz daghan kaayo problems & security holes.

also kani pud java bangungot jud kaayo ni sa mac osx oi! ay ambot nalang jud. naa mn mi mga programs diri both para sa faculty & students nga java based. super ka-unstable & daghan arte. but when we tried it sa windows based system, smooth ra jud iya dagan.

I think in every device and/or machine, Java is terrible. No exemptions.
