Bro modepensa na pd na sila nga dili daw na free net ila kay they are paying monthly. hehehe They are paying not to the company who is giving them 3g network but to get access to a VPN server.

Sunod ani naa na pd mopost, "we are not using 3G network. We are using VPN." Haaaaaaay matang na lang.

1 thing, why blame the users? vpn is there already even before pa nang ni abot ang smart ug globe sa pilipinas, murag panahon pang rizal naa nay vpn...

usa ray e blame, ang TELCOS, sila ra naay solution ana... nag put up cla ug wireless business for sure kabalo na cla sa risk ug consequences..

so until then, if naay policy directly nga illegal/bawal usage sa vpn, daghan na cguro gpang dakop, priso nag gamit ug vpn in violation and with connection to e-commerce law..

    correct if i'm wrong...

I raised a question first that needs an answer. Why man dili to ninyo tubagon? I-post nako usab basin wala ninyo nakita. These questions are based on the terms and services of Globe, Smart and Sun.

    Please enlighten me.
    1. Is using free/paid VPN (to access the web) part of Globe's regular workings of their system or network connections?
    2. Is using free/paid VPN (to access the web) not bypassing Smart's network?
    3. Is using free/paid VPN (to access the web) an authorized activity by Sun?
    4. Is using free/paid VPN (to access the web) not preventing DMPI from imposing and/or collecting the applicable legal charges?

Simply ra man kaayo ang pangutana gani sa TS which happens to be our boss.

Diin man mo nagkuha ug signal para ipanghatag sa inyong mga "subscriber"? Inyoha nang signal? If not, then kang kinsa man?
Ang tubag? Ang tag-iya sa signal ang Globe, Smart ug Sun therefore it should be used strictly and only on the services that they are providing. Ayaw ko igna kamoy nagtukod sa cellsite para naa mo kaugalingon nga network.

ako answeran ni bai and explain further..

    tanan answer: a big NO...

    Q: who's to blame?

Sun/Smart/Globe wireless business is so vulnerable... instead of convincing the small players [vpn users], why not convince the "Big Fish" IT specialists of the said TELCOS to make their security tight? makes sense right?

They have securities, you are breaching their securities. I tried wi-free before and not until I noticed that the system opens a port that's not for http, then I realized that this is illegal. If internet ra inyo i-access, why would you open ports other than port 80, port 443, and ports being used for SMTP/POP3/IMAP? To bypass their security.

D b mag-port scanning dayon mo para icheck ahay available nga ports na inyo magamit?
