Suggestion:

To the photo contest judges, please see to it that the winning photos will never came from a shooting angle that is meant to disrupt the parade flow; or if taken inside Abellana, it should be taken in the Photographers' Area.

Photographers' Area is flocked by spectators(not wearing red shirt). They should be sitting in the audience box. Random check of I.D.s and shirt is advised.

We also need to limit the height of the ladders used by photographers in Abellana. Some go as high as blocking the view of the audience at the back.

newbie q aning linyaha ug usa ko sa mga niapil, i was with the group of michaelocana, etian etc etc and its my first time pa jd nga mka kuyog ug mga prof. tungod sa kadaghan sa mga photogs, mo padaplin nlng ko ky nig abot sa sunod nga wave mang dugok daun tanan photogs sa atubangan, 50mm ra aqng ggamit so mas maayu duolan jd nq pra mka kuha'g tarong, pero mrag maikog nlng ko sa uban kay mka ali nia ko while nig duol nq mao mo hupo' or mo pa daplin nlng q sa kilid(lingkod pd ko sahay ky mka ali kos mga viewers nga nag kuha pd ug pictures), respeto nlng q sa uban, ky di mn pd ni sala' sa mga ni apil ba, gi limit nlng unta pra di kaau crowded, kay mrag tanaw sa mga viewers nag samok2x nlng gyud ang mga photogs.

Mas maayo jud nga mapatuman ang rules sa sinulog for photog.
Labi na tong imbarguhon ang ID. nya ang maimbargohan BAN for years...
Nindot pud tong idea nga minimum lens para wala jud mo duol plus e-la jud e-train ang mo bantay nga mo patuman jud sa rules.

Solution = Ilisdan ning NSTP ug real soldiers/police/tanods..etc..

Problem = Photographers - Daghan/Samok sa view
Solution = All Registered Participants..must attend orientation/rules..failure to comply kay disqualified

Problem = Annoying Crowd/Tourist/Fil-am/Foreigners
Solution = Strictly No Picture inside sa barrier while Dancing../Pwde mag pix-pix while resting/pause ang parade

basin ikaw ang first kay kung mabasa ang mga precious nila ang ma think nila mas precious pa ilang camera kaysa nmo hahahaha. samot na tong ngdala ug 200mm nga prime ug katong 300 o 400mm bato dapit sa fuente... di sila mgduha duha basin isolod naka sa botelya sa natures spring nga naay bitay bitay hahaha

hahaha. murg wa may mga napaslakan ug botelya sa lubot tungod labay2 sa tubig o unsa pana diha sukad sa history sa sinulog. di pud ta ka ingun ako ang mka first time ana kay way maka dare sd. hehehe

sa laktod pa nga storya, the parade is there for the general public to appreciate... not for photographers to feast on and deprive the people to watch the beauty of the dances.. 95% of the photographers during sinulog are all in it for the money while the general public is there for the fun. if you are not part of that 95% then sto. nino bless your soul..

naay maayo ai.. labayan nang mga bastos nga photgrapher nga mag samok2 ug mag ali sa view sa mga spectators diha sa parade route ug tubig gikan sa water bottle. syaro di managan ma basa ila mga gamit. hehehe total it has become normal during sinulog kanang labay2 ug tubig. labay man gani uban diha ug beer, gin o uban pa. wa ramay reklamo mga ordinaryong taw. jam raman sa kalingaw. kani mga abusado nga photogs maoy maayong yab.an! hehehe

maayo pd 400mm gadul.it ug shoot sa mga dancer. unsa na kaha kuha ana. basin sigay sa costume. hehehe

wa nay mabuhat mga photographer ana sir kung ang tibuok crowd na maglagot nila. panun ra ang mga photographers while they will be dealing with a mob. it only takes one person to shout "HOY SAMOKA NINYO UY DI MI KITA!!" and for sure the rest will pitch in their frustrations. i have witnessed a similar situation last year and the people just couldnt bear their frustrations at all. though walay tubig pero ang kalagot naa. hehehehe nahimo ang mga photogs the center of attention. hinay2 lage ug disperse sa area human gipang boo.han. as what i have said, the general public is there to see the performance and costumes of the contingents not the intruding photographers blocking the people's view. just try to fill in their shoes. maybe you would understand too.
