David Blaine is plain performer and entertainer. Pero the one that makes everything work like real thing is his attitude and character behind every trick he performed. Which is the other half of having a better Magic performance, not just the tricks itself.

BTW: He's also the one who popularize "Street Magic", other term for close up magic.
