sorry but your not driving a point, do you mean that the AFP is not what it is to be, as percieved by the public?
Don't even attempt to compare our AFP with other armed forces because that will only magnify our shortcomings as inept and corrupt organization.
AFP is huge? in what standards? and because it is huge, does one need to be an insider to understand what it is?
what do you mean by "observe the past and the present" from within?
really, your analogy does'nt make sense.

In the absence of any evidence, I can and will say this sort of childish stupidity is not happening in their training there.
I am not a GENERAL in real but talking about REALITY , there are only probably 2 or 3 of us here in the forums that has direct MILITARY LIFE EXPERIENCE and that is as close as you can get compared to YOUTUBE VIDEO's .

Well in the case of your statements , it is emphasizing that :

"Because Springfield, there are all sorts of youtube videos that show the Chinese military doing training and none of them have any sort of the chicanery and idiocy that you see in those videos. Until you can show a video showing this kind of torture going on during Chinese military training, then I don't think you can claim that this sort of thing is going on."

Now you are talking , ALL SORTS of YOUTUBE VIDEO's ? You said that , not me . Obviously , you will never see a video about their military and its issues being a communist country . Now if you insist , why dont you look it for yourself to satisfy your cravings na ang CHINESE MILITARY walay issue pod .

In war, the more dilapidated your technology and the more retarded your training the more casualties will be counted.
Now you are speculating . Which training is RETARDED ? The AFP's ? Bantog ra ang mga puthaw nila magellan gi pildi sa bangkaw nila Lapu Lapu .

China has won many wars, they have captured Tibet and crushed the uprising there. Also the fact that they are in OUR territory and we can't do anything about it but send reconnaissance craft means they have already won the mental game. There's no way we can touch the oil, if any, that is in that territory. And do not forget that this territory is ours, so the fact that we can't do anything about it in our own territory is a huge embarrassment for our government and our military.
Lol ... and what is there for Philippines to invade ? You are comparing apples and oranges now ... you can do better than that .

Balik ta sa topic. Genius nga general man kaha mo.
We are not GENIUS GENERALS nor GENERALS ourselves , what we are , are mere people who just happened to know whats going on in the military in general compared to being ARMCHAIR GENERALS .

Just what does the training in the video do to prepare soldiers for captivity, what does it achieve
I dont know . How did you know also that the video was meant as a training for soldiers in captivity ? Because thats what it says composed by the leftist who uploaded the video ?

But if you ask why such torture training existed , it is preparing soldiers psychologically not to breakdown easily which the bootcamp cant provide .

Lashing people with belts for an hour is supposed to prepare them for being capture by the enemy? Hahaha.. uh no sir. If these soldiers get captured the game is already over. If let's say they get taken captive by Chinese soldiers, do you think they are going to be subjected to lashings by belt? I don't think so! I think they are gonna have hot pokers shoved up their ass and electric batons rammed down their throats. There ain't any training in the world that can help you resist that one, man! The best training is to avoid getting caught and to stop losing. But our army is only good at getting caught and losing =/
You are so proud of the CHinese Army ... what do you think also if these Chinese Soldiers are the POW's of AFP ? Well ... it shows who follows the Geneva Convention ... ooops .... ayaw pag google ha .

    @ BOSGCHESS ....

top secret lagi.... not found anywhere.
Kay masakpan unya i upload unya sa YOUTUBE , lmfao !!

top secret na sad? if that is your basis, swimming from point A to point B, will make the navy swag one of the bests, then I respect your opinion.
pero sa tinuod lang, your opinion is not convincing, it is a poor criteria.
ngano hilom ka man about professionalsm and dicipline, which is a criteria that is important.
I love that phrase "makita ang katag"...mura man ga palab wanay...hehehehe
Its not TOP SECRET , it just so happens that you dont know jack shyt . Ako ni hilom about PROFESSIONALISM and DISCIPLINE ? What is there to talk about ? Like there is none in the AFP ? Just because you see a couple of top brass linked to issues and scandals , generalized man ka pod . Actually wala na gapalabwanay , it is a phrase that directs to you ngano di ka mo tuo na comparable ang training sa DoD and AFP in terms of physical , mental and psychological . Well I am not here to convince you , I am here to educate you .

    - Unsa gud diay ni? top secret? naa cguro usa or lima ka snipers and we claim that they are one of the bests? typical pinoy mentality...

    - kay ngano e top secret lagi...para sila lang kahibaw nga sila ang the best?

    - mao ba? Sharing is exclusive to Bible study?
nag joint exercise diay imo pasabot? one of the bests na dayon?
Nothing really .... its just that you havent or never heard of it and that is ok . Did I say its exclusive ? be in the same page with the BIG BOYS Mr. Bogschess aron makasabot ka , dili kay lagpas kaayo ka ug paminsar . Kins aman diay ga cge ug hisgut about SHARING ?

    @REPTOID ...

Beating your own troops severely during escape & evade type trainings is counterproductive and outlawed in most countries because apart from being unprofessional and inhumane it is a form of psychological conditioning. You are conditioning your soldiers to be "afraid" of the enemy which is the exact opposite of what you should be trying to achieve.
beating your own troops ? Because its how you interpret the video ? You are not even certin yet of the authenticity of it .

Hazing as a form of initiation has no valid place in the armed forces and is cherished only by street gangs and frat boys in this day and age.
Using the word CHERISH is wrong . There was hazing already by the frat boys since 1776 . There is no valid place of hazing anywhere else , even to your very own home but it still exist .

That's a bold statement. Please do tell why is the word cherish wrong?

Cherish: to entertain or harbor in the mind deeply and resolutely.

If gang members or frat boys think hazing important and they enjoying giving it out (which they do) then "cherish" seems entirely suitable.

Because you are single outing them out when in fact , it existed in the in every sector of the society to the point of also in a cherish setting unknowingly or knowingly . Mind you , hazing is not only about inflicting pain but of degrading a person also . The moment you bully somebody , that is a form of HAZING also .

Are you a GANG MEMBER or a FRATBOY that you know that they are enjoying giving it out ?

Although OT na ni siya .. still HAZING and like you said has no room in the military or whatsoever but me on a personally level is a fratman and I share a lot of foundation within the brethrens that we dont CHERISH hazing in any form , internally and externally .
