Round 4 - Manny opens up with a left and Margarito traps him along the ropes. Pacquiao however is landing the better punches on the inside. Margarito has a bad swelling under his right eye now and it's swelling very fast. Margarito tries for a left to the body and connects with a right. Pacquiao now lands a left to the body and Margarito is HURT! Margarito is getting marked up now and is slowing down considerably...wow! A right to the body lands for Pacquiao and Margarito tries to fire back on the inside but he's on shaky legs. Round is over and it's the most punishing by Pacquiao.

Round 5, Pacquiao sneaks in a straight shot under Margarito’s gloves. Margarito applies some pressure and gets Manny against the ropes. Pacquiao lands a lead hook and then a few punches follow. He lands a straight left and keeps up the work rate. Pacquiao lands a big straight left. Margarito lands a few good shots and backs Manny up. Pacquiao retakes control and keeps punching. Big straight lefts cloes out the round for Manny. Another Pacquiao round 10-9.

Margarito's eye is almost shut before the round even begins. Manny now concentrating on the straight left hands on that eye. Pacquiao is pumping the right jab and now unloads with a right uppercut. Pacquiao gets forced into the ropes and Margarito lands but Pacquiao answers back with a combination. Manny is too fast right now for Margarito. Three right jabs from Pacquiao and then a right uppercut..now a right hook as Margarito tries to throw a double jab. Pacquiao lands a right to the body...this is good stuff from Pacman. Margarito now sneaks in a right uppercut and then a left downstairs. A quick left lands on Margarito's chin and then another one on the cheek. Margarito looks drained from that bodyshot from the 4th round still. Margarito staggered with a left and then a right...round over and Pacquiao is rolling.

Margarito’s right cheek is all sorts of swollen up and busted open. Pacquiao lands a straight left and then a 1-2. He mixes in an uppercut and turns out to his side. Margarito can’t catch up as Manny goes to his side. Pacquiao lands an uppe...rcut, goes to the body, and stays moving around. Margarito started off all jabs, and now has abandoned that almost entirely. He’s following Pacquiao around the ring instead of cutting it off. Margarito lands a handful of good body shots, Pacquiao is a bit hurt, and he’s cut. The two trade toe to toe for the last 20 seconds, Pacquiao eventually gets the better of it, but Margarito did some good damage there. Manny was invigorated by being tagged, however.

Round 6 - Pacquiao still using that jab and straight left to pepper Margarito from the outside. Margarito misses with a left hook and eats a right and a left from Pacquiao who's dancing around him. Side to side for Manny and he's highlighting how slow Margarito is. Margarito eats a left cross and misses with a left to the body. Still, Margarito continues to try and use the left jab on Pacquiao. Margarito ties up Manny and lands a right hand. Pacquiao lands his own right and pumps the jab on his face. Two missed uppercuts by Margarito and two misses hooks. He lands with a right to the body but eats his own bodyshot. Pacquiao gets stuck on the ropes and Margarito lands two huge lefts to the body and Pacquiao has to retreat. Now they trade on the ropes! Pacquiao punches his way out of it and the round closes.

Round 7 - Manny lands a left hand to the stomach in the opening seconds of the 7th. A left hands sneaks in right on the nose of Margarito who responds with a short right cross. A pair of left hands land for Pacquiao and then he sneaks in a jab...Manny starts shuffling his feet Ali style and then connects with a right hook then another shot to the stomach. Margarito sneaks in a right cross to the body and lands flush. Pacquiao throws back a combination upstairs but he better avoid those big hooks to the ribs. A four-punch combination lands for Pacquiao and Margarito keeps trying to go downstairs. A flush jab lands for Margarito and then a right hand.
