stability? this company just spent PhP 25 million for a face-lift... we've got a lot better computers than call centers...except for some departments yet to be replaced...

stability? we're growing.........maybe not in our call center department but the company in general...

since you're not even employed in western wats/opinionology, why not try applying here?

or you did and you sucked on the interview? LOLs

*"lay-off is normal in all companies... the most lay-off-ed people are usually the weak links of a team" >> tell that to the marines... so you mean to say that my friend who was a high flyer, big asset to the company was a Weak Link talk about job stability man...
I agree with you that in all companies lay-off is a normal thing but there has to be LAWS that had to be followed right
then why the LAW Suits then

hahah! 25 million face lift?? whats the purpose of the face-lift?? google it...
diba mostly para ma "Correct ang mga sayop?? if you have nothing to hide as a company... hell, i wouldn't undergo a face-lift, id go for improvement, why not rather spend it on the Employees benefits.

Why deny the facts... its not rumors... it was in the news, heres the link but unfortunately Sunstar's server cant hold it... Search | Sun.Star Network Online
but i found a quote from the said article:

“Though Western Wats is an American firm, its management should follow our labor laws. There are rules to be followed in terminating employees but company officials, some of whom are Filipinos, refused to follow them. They dropped their kababayans like hot potatoes. This is oppression.”

and it was done by bobby nalzaro or you can try to google it. its not a rumor, it was in the news few years ago and many employees filed a law suit against the company.

or you can go to this link: World’s biggest data collection company sets up shop in Davao A New Davao Arises!

    heres a few Quotes:

"read nyo mabuti ang contracts nila! kung gusto nyo pa ma-try ibang call centers, wag na kayo apply sa WW, di na kayo tatanggapin ng ubang CC’s once nakapag-sign kayo ng contract with them."

i am from western wats cebu. and been with wwpi for more than 3 years. US IS EXPERIENCING RECESSION. EVEN AMERICANS ARE LOOSING THEIR JOBS. WESTERN WATS IS NOT SPARED WITH THAT AND SO OTHER BPO COMPANIES. IT’S A REALITY WE HAVE TO ACCEPT WORKING FROM A US BASED COMPANY. YOU CANT BE BITTER ABOUT IT. INSTEAD BE MORE POSITIVE AND TAKE IT AS A CHALLENGE TO BE MORE PRODUCTIVE IN OTHER CENTERS.

true. a reality to accept in deed.

but do it in such a inhumane manner?? i dont think its good."

and dude... i wouldn't even dream of Applying there, cause i know it sucked big hairy balls after what happend. Wats cant be trusted anymore... trust me, i had friends there that told me about the Horror stories they encountered there... the company they trusted turned on them, sheesshh...

So again... don't give me that crap about the FACE-LIFT thing... use that 25 mil to take care of the employees. thats the oldest trick in the book. if the company made an EPIC FAIL, change the name and start over and hope no one noticed = FACE-LIFT am i right

so katong gusto mag-apply, apply lang gud. dag-ko naman mo. im just giving a heads-up, ITS A GOOD THING YOU ARE AWARE OF THE COMPANY YOU ARE PLANNING TO WORK WITH right? maybe they learned from their mistakes and improved or not...

  9. #79
karon gi terminate sa company kay wala mag tarong suko na dayon......just my OPINION-ology bwehehehe

@Terell - di man ka kinahanglan create ug new user account to post your qualms about the company...
like all other companies, there are pros and cons....
like all other companies terminating employees, they face it sa court and let the court decide it....
like PAL, terminated employees have the right to counsel or press legal action and verify if they're terminated justly/unjustly.... awa ron ang PAL, gi-side-an sa supreme court.....and those employees were/will be terminated...

just because bobby nalzaro is a public figure, he doesn't know all regarding legal matters...maypa iyang co-anchor si Atty. Rose Versoza.
bula ramanang baba ana niya....di tanan sakto...

regarding sa facelift.....i think improving the working environment/facilities IS PART of your "employee benefits" nga reklamo.....

*"lay-off is normal in all companies... the most lay-off-ed people are usually the weak links of a team" >> tell that to the marines... so you mean to say that my friend who was a high flyer, big asset to the company was a Weak Link talk about job stability man...
it is possible nga dili mao ra na'y rason....

if gikan kag mga call centers, you will know the answer regarding the "weak link thing".... companies let go of unproductive people....

****regarding the dili dawaton other companies if gikan ka WW, i can speak for myself that i know more than 3 people that i had worked with before from my previous company nga gikan ug WW nga naka-work dayon after resign nila sa WW.... again, i think it boils down to skills.....basin bolay-og tong mga tawhanang kaila nimo.... though i heard that rumor as well....

and dude... i wouldn't even dream of Applying there, cause i know it sucked big hairy balls after what happend. Wats cant be trusted anymore... trust me, i had friends there that told me about the Horror stories they encountered there... the company they trusted turned on them, sheesshh...
don't worry "dude".... all companies can go on their business without you.... that is a fact....

and that Folks is my OPINION-ology Fwahahah!
i know, i had a hard time pronouncing it too...
