Lol, did I presented any "facts"? All I said was all fraternities should change their recruitment style, instead of recruiting a bunch of OSYs and high-school kids, why not recruit college grads and/or to people taking any GRADUATE PROGRAMS?? In the last 10 years I believe, fraternities (especially AKRHO and TAU) are notoriously known for performing a lame CIVIL WAR-esque in Cebu. Don't tell me this is not true?? Hmmm ... "Truth conquers all things" man kaha according to your friend.

I don't know who the hell is JOJO DEL ROSARIO personally, but according to news reports that he's a ground council president of AKRHO. I can't stop laughing when he said, "hindi na sana siya makakapiglas kung nahawakan ko siya eh." As if, he's really that tough. I know he's only tough when his sidekicks are around to back him up. Sooo obvious!!!

This tragic event should be a reflection that it's not good to join a fraternity until they consider reformation. Parents should keep their kids away from people who are members of any notorious fraternity. The government should arrest fratmen who has serious police records in a Nazi way on handling Jews during the holocaust (ie., put them in concentration camps). That would make them hide in the attic for a while and make the streets a little bit safer.

By the way, how do you know I'm living outside the Philippines? Did you look up my IP address? Hmmm ... I HAVE A STALKER!

Anyways, personal stuffs aside ... I didn't point fingers to any fraternity (or even blamed Lazaga) responsible for the cowardly act. I was just saying it's time to change the RECRUITMENT and SELECTION PROCESS. No more high-school kids, and troubled OSYs.

Ok, tell me, how come you guys started chapters for these people?? Hmm .. So they can be used as infantries and hitmans because y'all can't afford to jeopardize your college or career?? I thought fraternities are ONLY for college students?!?! What's the point of BROTHERHOOD for these OSYs and high-schoolers?? Don't they have peers, childhood friends, family, relatives, or classmates?? Is it really necessary for them to join the tribal honking clan?? Do all OSYs can find a full-time job or perhaps a "brother" will sponsor them to go back to school and hopefully advocate your frat's philosophy if they join?? Do all high-schoolers will be exempted on entrance exams for college and be on priority list when they apply to any college they wish to attend if only they join the frat?? Can they get any discounts from tuition fees, textbooks, school supplies, uniforms, and groceries?? Do they get a LIFE INSURANCE for god's sake if they join?? Hmmm ...

To be honest, I'm not hating fraternities. I'm just criticizing on how they handle their recruitments. ABOLISH HIGH-SCHOOL and OSYs CHAPTERS!! Stop corrupting young minds!!!!!

Pimentel, Monsod Call for Frat Ban Following Sunday Blast in Manila

Manila, Philippines - Two lawyers yesterday asked schools to ban fraternities engaging in violent activities.

Former Senator Aquilino Pimentel Jr. and Atty. Christian Monsod issued the call following the blast that marred the last day of Bar examinations near the De La Salle University campus along Taft Avenue, Manila last Sunday.

“That is one incident where schools can ban fraternities engaging in hazing and the like,” he said in a Church-organized forum in Intramuros, Manila.

Pimentel said there is no reason for the school authorities not to go after those involved in the incident citing a Supreme Court (SC) decision upholding their right to dismiss students.

“There is a Supreme Court decision upholding the right of the school to dismiss students who do not follow regulations of the school,” he said.

“There should be an action on the part of the school authorities and there should also be prosecution. Those responsible should go to jail,” added Pimentel.

Monsod agreed with Pimentel saying fraternities teaching nothing but violence to its members should be banned in schools.

“I agree that fraternities should not teach violence…they should not be taught that. There is a law on this but it is not being enforced,” he said.
