asa mo ni palit sa inyo d90? pila pod?
@jong: sa HK nako napalit brod ang D90 body 35k+ brandnew and a 18-55mm lens nga 5k+ brandnew. Ang body naa free nga 16gb nga Transcend SC HC 2 og carema bag! tigom mode para palit nindot (U_U)...
its not about the cam bro.. its about the user.. i weight lang maau kung unsa imong tirada.. den dha pka mudecide kung unsang kamera imong paliton..
thats not with 2yrs CDSC warranty...
then compare the price with a canon na dili pud 3yrs CMP warranty...
coz if CDSC vs CMP prices ang icompare, mahal gyud kaayo ang CDSC.
patas bah...prakticalay man gani, compare 2nd hand with 2nd hand pud.
thats all im saying
my post was for you in your unfair comparison of prices.
as for the TS as he mentioned he doesnt need video, etc. those features that the canon excels in.
so guess he got the right camera for himself. like i said in the past, to each his own. wa man ko mu comment that he got a bad cam coz d90 is a very good camera. wa man koy comment sa iyang decision.
not everyone has the same needs. personally i have taken advantage of the higher resolution of the canon. in any case, both cameras are excellent photography tools. it still comes down to the user!

lipay man ko sa ako D90... hehehe.. la pud ko nagmahay... there are factors why i decided to go for the Nikon D90. First, the D90 has a bigger view finder. Second, the 18-105mm lens kit feels much durable than the canon's 18-55mm - payter ang canon kung maka-afford ka ug L Lens. Third, as i wanted to have a 50mm F1.8 lens, daghan reports na ang canon's 50mm F1.8 naay focusing problem and plasticy. Fourth, the D90 has the LCD status on the top which is very useful jud.
No doubt Canon has the edge in the video aspect.
I just need to buy a new flash... hehehe tigom jud... hmm... im a newbie ani... i want to join a group na magshoot2x.. naay mga humble peeps diha? hehehe...
im glad you found a cam the works for you
naay specific use ang DSLR's Video...lahi gyud siya gawas kay sa standard video cams...its large sensor allow narrower DOF...same as having the 70-200 2.8 lens, its just different gyud...
compare nimo to any other lenses out there...lahi ra gyud ug gawas...lisod iexplain...but most of the professional videographers i know has a mkII or 7d for this purpose. it allows for greater creative effects.
para nako gamit kaayo since i am now venturing into video productions for broadcasting and having this just puts me at an edge over others who dont have it.
for the flash you have three good options. china, nissin or nikon.
if under 5k imo budget then china flash nalang gyud ka.
if above 7k imo budget then get the nissin.
though ang di866 is 14k from nissin its also comparable to the flagship offer sa originals plus it has some features not found on those.
if you can afford the sb900 go for it syempre
