Well, kung honor grad sa college ka kay automatically eligible na ka sa civil service. No need to take the civil service exam.

That's one benefit I can think of.

Of course, naa sad kay point na maka-pressure gyud kung honor graduate ka gikan sa high expectations sa mga tao. However, if you love the course wherein you became an honor graduate, I guess you can manage those expectations kay mas motivated man ka mo-excel sa field na imong gipili.
