every distro has it's own ups and downs..

let us say you love linux based platform coz your into programing and no virus but problem is not all proprietary software runs in linux.. example. I love game softwares, ms office (yes it runs but not all suite)because for me I love it's functions and experience and yes true there is alternative software named open office.. but I love ms office more than open office..

now here comes to windows... yes.. we got games or good software.. but haven't you been fed up with the blue screen of death, virus, if one software runs abnormal then your whole operating system freezes.. annoying huh..

me I am just in between.. not all platforms, the best in anyways.. it's up to the end user which they really prefer..
