di sad siguro ni sweldo sa mga artista oi, basin sa mga crew & staffs ra na., kinsa gud tawn artistaha mao ra na talent fee. mura ra ug casual sa gobyerno

Not all artists are highly paid. The reported wages are for the newcomers, not-so-popular-but-willing-to-entertain and lower level entertainers who got hired here in Cebu.

Even until now, I'm hearing reports that GMA pays these specific local artists with wages that are "higher" than the minimum wage.

It would be nice to see someone, who actually worked with these networks, who is free to discuss their compensation in entertainment. I know that's not easy because such details are so personal.

that's nt an allegation, that may be true. wla na rn naman regional show ang gma7, if meron, di na broadcast. syempre, dnt expect to get same money that gma7 mother studio are getting. cnsider din the volume of work. if uv read my post, i made it clear na gma7 has weak support for their regional network, purely news na lang sila. ot na ata to.

It is indeed true! GMA Network underpaid Cebuano talents.

In fact when the minimum wage for Cebu was at P241, the rich and misguided network paid only P240 a day.

Adding insult to everyone's injury, GMA canceled Singgit Cebu without informing everyone that they just had their last live taping.
