Default Manny Pacquiao and the courtesy call

I heard our people's champ is on its way to the Palace for another courtesy call. Since I'm a noob myself when it comes to infamous terms so I googled the words "courtesy call", you'll be amazed of what I learned.

In diplomacy, a courtesy call is a formal meeting in which a diplomat or representative of a state pays a visit out of courtesy to a head of state or state office holder. Courtesy calls may be paid by another head of state, a prime minister, a minister, or a diplomat. The meeting is usually of symbolic value and rarely involves a detailed discussion of issues.

It's no wonder why the people's champ wants a grip of Politics, he is being treated as one.
Too bad you can't wear boxing gloves while legislating, I would vote for you if that happens. LOL!

dont like him into politics,if he wants to help his constituents must do some charitable works or make a foundation to help the needy, Politics does not guarantee him to be a good servant nevertheless might turn him into arrogant servant of the people..

It is an elementary rule in sentence construction that a definition of a word can vary based on how it is used in a sentence. Therefore, there is nothing incorrect with the term courtesy call used by the Palace in inviting Manny Pacquaio to visit PGMA. The definition you pointed out, is one which is used in a formal state visit, while Manny's case falls under an informal gathering to commemorate an event (e.g. celebration of a victory).

In a bid to find a loophole in PGMA's administration, detractors of the president are criticizing even the smallest and irrelevant details in her decision or proclamation. Let's stop all of this non-sense and just celebrate the significance of Pacman's victory to the Filipino nation.

He will just be used if he will run, I must say. He can really be influential in many other ways even if he does not run. Serving the people does not always mean one has to be in public office, anyway.

If only he could be persuaded, he should really be out from politics. He will just be criticized in politics. Unlike when he is with the field that he has already mastered, everyone will respect him.

Proving you don't have to be intelligent to be an "intelligence aide."
