thanks guys. i am trying to locate a discarded shot that i happen to like. two harsh barndoors and three sync'd flash. slow shutter speed on fast film. the overexposure was a bit gray but the grains showed up like i wanted them. i am still puzzled with the gray washout instead of white. i'll post it when i find it.

canon elan ii-e. sigma APO 28-200mm F2.8 lens. ilford 400iso b/w film. shot at f/4 at 1/100. +1EV flash compensation. tilted lumiquest softbox. crappy scanner not recorded.
