1. bantay sa mga plants na inyu gi-introduce kay sahay naay mga eggs sa snails nakapilit.
2. make water acidic kay muhumok na ila shells, then pwede na tuhikon sa mga isda. hehe.
3. manually remove them.
4. introduce clown loach sa imu tank kay nahan na sila mu-eat sa snails.

How do you keep cardinals?

Do you go to great lengths to keep them in soft acid water? (RO water?)
Or will they do fine in slightly alkaline water?

I always shy away from cardinals kay well water man ako gamit.
Ive kept neons before and they do fine in my well water for several months and die off slowly.
I'd like to try neons once more in my new setup since the plants strip hardness from the water quickly so my water is just slightly alkaline na.

Naay news of neons among the cardinals?

I'm using well water also and have both.. cardinals are hardier than neons... if your aquarium is well established... i mustve bought 60 neons na in a span of a year.. only 5 survived and still swimming n my tank. I got 3 cardinals (pakyaw nako didto sa riverfront hehehe) 1 died the other 2 has been there for a year na... and still healthy looking...... the neons (alvin's) looks a bit deformed.


for me, cardinals jud... medyo expensive but they look better and hardier than neons.

cardinals jud. neons way ayo, dali mangamatay! hahaha. die also just die sometimes with no apparent reason, they call it the "neon tetra disease". hahahaha.

cardinals are more hardy, more colorful, more bigger and also more expensive! hahaha.

Hmm. keeping cardinals requirea substantial investment.

Tag pila kaha nu? murag tag 75 man tu sauna. Im sure mas mahal na kay taas pa ang demand. cardinals and neons have been absent for a while.

try nko hangyo if mada ba 50. sauna kapalit man gani mi tag 100 each, hagtak amo 2000 oi!
