    They are really happy.

I don't want to backread, so I'm gonna ask if sa Coast Guard ba ni or sa Navy?

Dawbeh karon mangutana ko nimo and let me rephrase it aron dili ta ma OT, what has the so called "yellow idiots" (referring to Cory and AbNoy) done that was detrimental to AFP modernization that made you curse them for the rest of your life?

Actualy sir Noy daghan pud ko nakita benefits during sa time ni Mackoy but definitely not the AFP modernization. Simple raman ni sir, why don't you prove your point by presenting facts regarding the status of the armed forces from the time he took office until the time he got sick circa 1984..
lets just all cool down.. matud pa ni jackie chan we cannot base what is right on wrong on todays standard.

anyway, AFP was at its prime during Marcos time. its decline happened during the "Cory Aquino" administration (they seem to have allergies on military spending despite its contribution to the nations stability. lets face it, a weak military is a weak nation unless you name specific nations opposite to just what i said) but had its small spike during Ramos when they purchased those Simba's and those trainer aircrafts etc. Which Simba's are the forefront of the marines today with the v300's etc compliment of course during Marcos time. ohh and those sexy modern AIFV purchased at the time of the Arroyo admin.

    Marcos allegedly stole millions.
Aquino simply gave away all of the Lopez Group of companies back debt free.

Marcos nationalized almost all industry like metal, communication etc.
Aquino started privatizing those companies later which lead to its down fall.

Marcos started seizing "major" agricultural land titles then later giving it to the poor.
Aquino continued, but later reformed it. protecting major land owners including her families own.

Marcos visioned of a highly industrialized nation starting from making electricity relatively cheap.
Aquino later stop the bataan nuclear plant from starting, till today where paying for the mothballed plant.

...but yeah, I agree on something. todays Aquino admin is trying to fix things up though some of his actions are not really positive mark on me.

but lets cut the sh***t here, lets talk on modernizations

its for the Navy sir, the grey paint scheme is perhaps be painted later in due time since it also eats a lot of money.. paint aint cheap, not to mention its marine paint. coast guard has large ships like those tennix/SAR, apparently more coast guard ships are coming this year or the next year to enhance patrols.

FYI sah uban, PCG or Philippine Coast Guard is a civilian agency.. Executive Brief: Philippine Coast Guard (PCG): Military or Civilian Body? hence its different budget from the AFP.

The MRV Project is the only project, of all the project completed, ongoing and being pursued, being undertaken under AFP Modernization Project that went through the rigid process of Defense System of Management which is based on Capability Gap Assessment that needs to be filled.

    Contents of the package

Multi-Role Vessel (Makassar Class Vessel) One (1) Unit
Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAV) Four (4) Units
Landing Craft Utility Two (2) Units
Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats Four (4) Units
    Mobile Hospital One (1) Unit
2 ½ Ton Troop Trucks Two (2) Units
1 ¼ Ton Troop Trucks Two (2) Units
¼ Ton Utility Vehicle (Jeep) Two (2) Units
Forklift or Cargo Handling Equipment One (1) Unit

The rationale behind the PN Multi-Role Vessel project

I am not really supporting/fan ani nga project. But I'm more supportive on mosquito fleets for more coverage of areas.. this MRV is ideal in launching a full assault on an island... plus it has its own risk of having the bulk of the forces under one floating vessel.

For me, 3 smaller ships with about the same specs but obviously smaller force for the 3 group of island is the ideal.. what ever happens if we need the ship in luzon ASAP but currently its anchored in davao? delay of troop response to emergencies are obviously a problem here.

How about Peykaap Fast attack boat like in Iran then mount lang ug Gatling Gun and missile since ang Philippines is composed of many island. Dili pa kaayo siguro daku ug maintenance and maka respond dayon if there is a threat. Just my two cents guys..
