Yup, thats what i read since they were the best team who did best in Moalboal. I also thought they were going to have a selection after reading it in the newspaper. SRFC will represent the womens side.

you mean to say they were the best team from cebu that did best in the competition since the devil bats refused to play for the third place since they were already swimming in the cool waters of moalboal while some started drinking. hehe. anyway, i think the papers still got it wrong.

I wasnt there so i dont know what happened, but theyre world famous for other things than football. LOL
But good luck to the boxers, fighters, kickboxers in FCIC. They will meet the best in the nation, hopefully they wont give Cebu a bad name.

daghan man talented na players diha sa Cebu,ang nsaka wa lang ayo kay wala kaayo ta connection sa European Clubs,like wala gani summer league bisan out of the country nalang...lahi man gud gikonsentrate sa Phil Sports Commision kay ang Basketball,NBA fan man ko but dili PBA.midget ra kaau ta para ana oi na game...football jud ta musikat but wala lang jud naningkamot ang government.

Elschulzoo, There are many talented in Cebu, yes, but no Cebuano will make it as a pro in the next 10 years unless something drastic happens in this country. Even national team players have problems getting a deal in a asian league. Why? Because there are no domestic leagues. Football in Cebu is pretty much about 7aside festivals and the occasional 11 aside tournaments. Clubs abroad send their scouts to other countries to follow interesting players, they cant do that here in the Philippines. They wont send a scout to a 7aside festival to scout for players, thats waste of time and money for the clubs. Youtube wont help much. I suggest a mixed video, like showing technical skills, and the most important, a video of the player in a game, so the clubs can see how he handles different game situations. When you get that, you can send it around to clubs. If you get lucky they will ask for a try out.

Even fililpino foreigners who comes to Philippines to play for the national team has to pay their own airfare. They do get allowance as soon as theyre in the squad though, but thats only peanuts.
