Hontiveros named PBA KFC/Accel Player of the Week

Cebuano Dondon Hontiveros struck hard in the final period, firing 14 of his 34 to lift San Miguel to the semifinals of the 34th PBA-KFC Philippine Cup.

For the feat, which sent the Beermen to the semis for the second straight time and seventh in the last nine conferences, earned the 31-year-old Hontiveros the KFC/Accel-PBA Press Corps’ Player of the Week honor for the period Jan. 5 to 11.
