i use yurbuds for running too and i find the sound quality quite good. i dont really mind since in running i prefer function and comfort over sound and yurbuds are specially designed for that. for sure i expect the sennheiser to sound better. anyway i stopped listening to music when running now, i dont wanna depend on it.

Since this is my 1st plunge into the world of headphones, i cannot make a particular review much as i wanted to.
As with all 1st timers, they say nindot kaayo, just like any headphones for that matter.

Last night i slept with the headphones on my head. The morning i woke up its still intact. So i guess this is built like a tank.
Form factor hatag nako 8 tungod kay dili replaceable iya ear pads.
Among other things, i choose these kay usa ra iya cord and not the "Y" type, head band is leather.

Dili man madunggan ang sound nga mugawas being semi-open. Not until i crank the amp to 50.
Milabad ako ulo pagpanimaw nako sa Metallica kay lanog kaayo ang double peds. So i think bassheads will love this.
It is also very comfortable to wear for long periods.

I based my decision solely on the reviews that i have read. A bit risky one but nonetheless much easier than auditioning it.
Self was actually torn between the Grados 325i, Audio Technica TH900x, Sennheiser HD600 and Philips X1 (not yet available in R.P).
I chose this because i know i will have to change headphone along the way (puhon).

Since you have the budget, for this list i suggest go for the Senn HD600, the rest are no contest, not even close lol

What the"flac" is this all about? He he he.

Today i AB'ed the MP3 and FLAC audio formats by listening to Diana Krall live in Paris East of the Sun west of the Moon.

By AB'ing, it is more accurate and you can readily discern the differences as you don't have to stop and start each time you compare the sounds. It is actually a blind test so there is no way that one can say which is which. It is just on the title that you can determine which is which thereafter.

I seem not to hear any differences between the two. By difference, i mean night and day something that you can readily notice and say its worth the additional bytes it carries. My brothers did athe blind test too and could not discern any differences at all.

So what is it all about the hullabaloo on this FLAC? Can you guys really tell the difference between the two?

So what formats are you using and why?
