    Current standings:

    EAST:

1 Detroit vs. 8 Miami - a likely early exit for Miami if injured pa ghapon si Wade
2 Washington vs. 7 Orlando - if guys Butler and Antawn gets healthy, Wiz are off to second round
3 Cleveland vs. 6 Indiana - struggling Indiana and Cleveland, this is a hell of a show
4 Toronto vs. 5 Chicago - experience vs explosiveness, the former getting the advantage

    WEST:

1 Dallas vs. 8 LA Clippers - Clippers should at least avoid a sweep
    2 Phoenix vs. 7 Denver - a high-scoring game is expected
3 San Antonio vs. 6 LA Lakers - Spurs should show that they still have something to be talked about
4 Utah vs. 5 Houston - this match-up is what i would like to see...

    RUMORS:

Scottie Pippen still on the Lakers' radar? - Today's NBA has a lot of things to talk about, including Scottie Pippen's attempt to get back into the game. Scottie was considering a return with the Spurs but the Spurs coach Greg Popovich declined the move. He might rejoin his then-coach Phil Jackson and he wouldn't look bad in a purple and gold jersey right?

Miller time in Dallas? - Joining the elite Dallas Mavericks is an opportunity for Reggie Miller to win the ever-evading championship that he wanted. Miller retired in 2004-05 but he's still in great shape and the long-distance shooting is still scary. Not knowing how serious this issue is, but Reggie Miller is considered to fill that vacant spot vacated by Anthony Johnson, who was traded to the Hawks on trade deadline.

Grabeh... they're doing ala-Michael Jordan ha. For me though, Scottie's been great but if he ever considers that comeback, murag there's something na makapa-bati sa iyang name. I understand Reggie Miller's situation kay wala pa cya ring. Well, the Mavericks should instead release DJ Mbenga and make a call to Karl Malone.

ATKINS AT DENVER? - The Nuggets are reportedly interested in hiring a PG this summer and if they inquire Chucky Atkins for that job, the last thing he's ever gonna do is to refuse an offer.

"Without a doubt, I'd love to come to Denver," said Atkins, who will be a free agent. "I've always liked George Karl as a coach. I think I can help those guys getting up and down the court and score some points. I'm a guy that can stretch the court (with his shooting)."

    MAJOR INJURIES:

A potential devastating blow to New York Knicks, Miami Heat and LA Clippers' bid for a playoff berth.

In separate occasions, Miami's top player Dwayne Wade dislocated his shoulder, Clippers' Shaun Livingston dislocated his knee caps and Knicks' Jamal Crawford is about to undergo a surgery on a stress fracture in his right ankle.

Wade is sidelined for 6 weeks while Livingston and Crawford is out for the season. Crawford might return if the Knicks make the playoffs.

Boston finally barged back to the win column after beating the short-handed Rockets.

Paul Pierce was in his usual self, scoring 28 points against the Rockets who's without T-Mac and Yao.
    congratulations Boston..

Bonzi Wells led the Rockets with 27 points, which is believed is his season high, and hit career-high 11 free throws. despite of the loss, Wells' performance is a good sign for Houston come playoff time.

we'd probably expect another sacramento kings type bonzi wells in the playoffs this season.
