that's the reason why it's very difficult to stop corruption in the Philippine government bureaucracy because those who are supposed to promote it "circle the wagons" to defend it when complaints start to come in and worse blaming the victims of encouraging corruption by blaming the victims for not reporting it!

what motive do you think Reclamador has to defame you beloved BFP ? why don't you make sure that these things don't happen again on your watch and perhaps it might take root and you can redeem the good name of your BFP !!

Kami pai nag bayad sa tax para mo fund and sweldo sa mga government services, then kami pa mo come-up with a solution or raise an issue? Kahayahay!
Bai, be proactive. The fact that grabe ang feedback here sa forums on your beloved institution, isn't it only right na ikaw mo check sa imong own back-yard and not just sit around? Find something to do man. If your from the BFP, we are paying you to do something not just sit around and wait for fires or approve permits.
The fact that full-time volunteer groups are present proves that BFP is inefficient!

i wonder if tenchu guy has ever tried calling Mandaue City Fire Department and ask if they have beeen neglected by the local government... has he ever asked what the Mandaue LGU have done to contribute to BFP Mandaue?
As i was reading the thread, Im quite confused why tenchu is saying that NGO volunteers are commendable and yet he said that we should not rely on them? what are you trying to emply tenchu? And have you tried asking how many firetrucks has been donated the Mandaue City LGU to BFP? as far a i am concerned, by providing support to ERUF, Mayor Jonas is doing the best for the city as well as other cities. wa sad siya magkuwang og hatag og supporta sa nagkalain-laing ahensya sa gobyerno both National and Local. Basin mao na inyong experience diha sa inyohang opisina. But Mandaue is way different from your situation. We're on our way to the top. That is something worth waiting.

Ever wonder they are called VOLUNTEERS? Imagine the hardwork and dedication they have provided. They have the heart to do things that would help people who are in need. By definition from RA 9418 "commitment or conviction for the attainment of the
public good and where monetary and other incentives or reward are not the primary motivating factors.
