Tinood na bro. Sa di lang pag panghambug, when I first joined Credit-Suisse 2 years ago, ako gibutang expected salary kay 4.5k ra for someone with over 5+ years of experience. The recruiter suggested to make it more than 5.5k, kay 5k daw ang starting sa ingon ato na positions nila. I accepted an offer which is slightly more than 6k. When I was working there, I discovered naa pa gyud mas dagko, there many pinoy guys there who had more than 7k or 8k ... some of them are in AVP level na. This was during the time when the job market in SG is very hot, and has a huge undersupply of manpower/talents. Di katingalaan ingon ani nga swledo sa una, investment banks are the biggest spenders of IT niadto - in manpower and equipment. Karon I doubt if you can ask/command that kind of salary. Most of the people I know in CS has either left the job because of pressure/stress sa trabaho or na re-trench. I'm happy to have moved on to another investment bank/trading company, although walay increase and not much bonuses, but lesser ang stress sa trabaho, naay work-life balance.
