boss , ask lang ko bah, ni apil ko ug 10k marathon pag last sunday april 9 sa Plaza Independencia OYM event , mao ni akong unofficial running time 1:11:52 unya akong running weight kay 172lbs with a BMI of 27, ok rani siya or kinahanglan pa siya ug more speed. since newbie ug first time pa ni nako apil ug marathon ,3 weeks rako ga practice ug dagan sa abellana pag march for 3x a week ,so mahug ra ug 9 ka dagan kay sige2x man pud ug uwan pag march mao wala kaayo tarong practice ug dagan. then 2 weeks wala ka dagan since last week of march and 1st week of april. nahug ug kuwang pa sa condition .please need more guides and advice sa akong result.

wa man koi specific training plan sir, 3x a week pud ko magjogging unya ang 1st 2 runs kai 5km to 10km
and ang 3rd run kai 10k to 15K (depende sa weather). kung moapil ko ug 21K fun run, maabot ko ug 21K sa 3rd running session.
nisuway napud ko ug running drills dis week para makatabang sa speed ug pacing....

hello sis! try running + walking intervals, mao ni advice nila Jeff Galloway, Amby Burfoot, Tom Osler (ultramarathoner).
sa akong case, 4 min run ug 1 min walk hangtud maabot ko sa akong target distance.
kung beginners, start lang sa 1 minute run (or less) unya 1 minute walk, ayaw lapas ug 1minute imong walk.
im also stuck on 6:50min /km pace. trying to get out of that slump.
