o At exactly 6:00am all riders will start the round south ride.
A detail of the stop-over is posted on our FB group page. Link is https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...&type=1&ref=nf
• Further instructions will be discussed on every stop-over/checkpoints. (e.g. the whole group will be divided into two clusters. 1st cluster will be for the riders who are comfortable running on a higher speed (70-80kmph) and the 2nd cluster will be for the riders who are comfortable running on a moderate speed (50-70kmph). This is to be implemented to avoid accidents. One of the major rules in group rides is “Ride at your own pace.” – Ride on your comfortable speed and position; don’t push yourself to run fast if you are used to run slow and vice-versa.
o Leave a bubble of space around yourself and other riders/vehicles.
Avoid violating each other's space, particularly on a rider's right hand side.
o Ride with common sense.
Don't go screaming through small towns. If you're going to pass someone on a double, slow down so you don't have a closing speed of 50 mph...and don't come back into their lane on their front bumper
o No RECKLESS driving!
o The Art of Passing (not gas):
a) Choose your passes.
Don't just follow other riders; make sure every pass is safe before you make it. (This kind of goes with the rest of them)
b) Never pass a rider who is either:
i. In a position to pass another vehicle
ii. Potentially going to pass another vehicle
iii. Is passing another vehicle.
c) Make sure you get all the way to the right of the lane as you safely can after a pass if someone is behind you. This way they won't have to try and squeeze in or fly by you.
d) In tight traffic, pass vehicles one rider at a time. Always pass such that the rider ahead of you is not required to make room for you to complete your pass.
e) Let faster riders pass. If someone is behind you, and they came up on you pretty fast, or you don't feel too comfortable with them behind you, then slow down for a second and wave them by. They will appreciate it, and you should feel better as well as less crowded.
nice2x... we'll have a very short briefing before doing each leg re the following:
1. next checkpoint/stopover
2. latest estimated arrival time (para makibaw ta when to worry, kung dugay moabot ang rider)
i-try lng gyd nato follow ni. tail rider (sweeper) should always be the last rider.ato lng ni i-swap2x kay boring sd bya ni nga spot sa ride ahihihi

bro riel, if ever magneed p mo ug lain sweeper.. ingna lang ko.. willing to be a sweeper.. just orient me the complete task of a sweeper.. kay isa ra mn ako nabal-an nga iya task gud..
Let's not forget kung naay mu overtake nga awto or bus from the back to let them pass. Kay kung daghan bya mag group ride ang usual speed kay 40-60kmh and it might irritate other motorists nga nag dali sa biyahe.
@Blank check - kuyog mo nila felix ug inkiang inig sunday?
