Let's see how those statements would fare well with Esposo's

"Trillanes is an elected legislator — another major mistake of the Filipino voters — but he does not even respect the presumption of a person’s innocence sans any presentation of evidence, due process and conviction. What gave Trillanes the right to say to Reyes in front of a nation following the Senate hearing live on television that he does not have the right to defend himself and has no reputation to protect? He only had his own personal opinion of Reyes and the say so of Rabusa. No documentary evidence, no due process, no cross examination of a hostile witness and yet Trillanes acted like judge, jury and executioner by declaring that Angie Reyes had no reputation to protect."

Of course this is very true.

And let's see what Rabusa has in stock?

"Even Lt. Col. Rabusa acknowledged in an interview with ANC’s Karen Davila that Trillanes went overboard and that the Senator’s unexpected boorish treatment of a Mistah (fellow graduate of the Philippine Military Academy or PMA) must have heavily impacted on the late AFP Chief. A Mistah is not supposed to do that to another Mistah, especially one as senior to Trillanes as Reyes was."

Kita gitudloan man sa atong mga ginikanan ug pamatasan, pagrespito sa ubang tawo kaniadtong gagmay pa ta. So how can I disagree with the last statement of Rabusa, much more with the military training and honor system they have in the academy.

regarding s combat experience ni trillanes, yup he had an experience in mindano specifically zambo but if compared sa army its not that much coz life at sea is not much exposed to enemy's fire compared to life at combat area in land. and plus the fact that our enemy dont have that capability yet to fight at sea. ang kuyaw lang jud sa dagat is malunod ang imong barko, mao ra nay kuyawan nila. about the threat of the enemy at sea, nah its not that much coz our navy's firepower is greater pwera lang kung other country ang enemy which will not yet happen in the near future, maybe 30yrs from now it might.

yup trillanes was there in zambo and he was once involved in an investigation where his unit (there were more or less 15 members including trillanes where he was one of the three officers of that unit)was reported to be not declaring the blue seal cigarrites they had confiscated from smugglers. as stated on the report they allegedly sold it and divided the proceeds. because of that, he was reassigned back to manila.

regarding to his being schooled in la salle before becoming a cadet in PMA. his parents can afford it coz his father was a former colonel/captain in the AFP, also a PMA graduate. and his mother is a known dealer in the AFP allegedly using the influence of his husband to win in biddings and delivery of supplies.

for his character, most of his seniors and junios knows him as being so mayabang. and there was a report that he pocketed most of the funds given to them by their financier during their oakwood mutiny. said mutiny is well funded but much of the fund were not used as intended and allegedly it was trillanes who controlled the fund. thats why some of his classmates like maestrocampo and others defected from trillanes sometimes in 2006 coz they found out that trillanes pocketed majority of the funds.

for reyes, yup he is not that clean but he is not also that dirty. the major mistake of reyes is that he was not able to stop the bad practices that the afp had been doing since the time of marcos. he might be strict to his subordinates but he is not ganid or swapang. its easy to say to stop the practices but its not easy to do it. malas lang ni gen reyes was he was singled out by trillanes and jinggoy coz they have ax to grind on gen reyes. the made him guilty thru trial by publicity.

i was wondering, why most of his allies says he died wit honor? is it an Honor if you commit suicide

  9. #719
trillanes put his life and career in line when the oakwood mutiny happened...and why is that? its bcoz of the corruption inside the AFP during arroyo's time. and if your asking why he won in the senate? its bcoz almost all of the lowest to mid ranked soldiers have voted for him bcoz of his bravery. Reyes is just one of the generals who are involved. he killed himself not to save the AFP but because he lost in a battle against his conscience. he did not went to the camp or his office b4 his death but rather the wake of his mother bcoz he is indeed being killed by his conscience. indeed he was a good person but he just struggled to fight the evil in the form of corruption in the AFP. thats why he took his own life to end his internal shame and the failure to his principles.
