... no laptop, you misunderstood everything. Making it legal doesnt mean that we are Promoting prostitution. It's control and regulation. As what giddyboy said, DOLE, DOH and maybe DTI and BIR will have this so called "flesh industry" under it's watchful eye.

if we legalized prostitution, wat can we get good out of it? we are juz encouraging more women and man to be prostitutes... and this is not good cause many people can get STD HIV and AIDS and many more diseases...

.. again, no.. legalization is not the same as encouraging. And it seems you're saying that being a prostitute is easy, try asking them how hard their lives are. There are people born to be doctors and lawyers and policemen and teachers.... but, there are also people who, sadly, no matter how much they try to make their lives better cannot and only resorts to prostitution as a solution.

.. STDs will then be regulated. And of course, when it is, ooppps, the word is IF, it will be legalized, then for sure there will be set of rules and regulations to be followed.

it would somehow create a "win-win" solution if it is done correctly. the prostitutes would be able to offer their services in the open while the government provides them protection and health benefits. in return the government gets additional taxes. even though these women are prostitutes they must be protected also. their "work" doesnt make them less of a person, they need to be respected too...

Legalization is not synonymous to encouraging or promoting prostitution. It's more of controlling, regulating, limiting, and protecting.

And what about morality? hahay, mura tag sirang plaka ani. Our constitution clearly indicates separation of church and state lagi. Our Phil. gov't is not the Vatican.

.. really, have you ever talked to a prostitute ??

..Some prostis might be defined as what you've said, but not all of them. We should consider ourselves lucky to have been born to the class B or class A demographic.

Daghan gihapon wala nakasabot .... since page 1 up to the current post , daghan na kaayo PRO LEGALIZATION replies implying why it is needed . Usbon nako ni kausa ha ? AMEN .

    - Legalization will control STD and HIV instead of the notion na mas mo daghan . Kontrolado ni siya sa usa ka agency to name a few DOH whom can accomodate the people in the industry for the proper orientation , training , education about STD's and HIV's and the proper personal hygiene and care weekly , monthly , periodically and annually .

    - Wala mag encourage ang LEGALIZATION to harbor more people to be part of the trade , it is for the obvious reasons sa mga EXISTING and to those unfortunate ones who eventually will end up PROSTITUTING also but on a brighter side , there is a benefit for them , people who can help them while being a part of the trade which are not available right now kay di siya LEGALIZED .

    - By saying atong mga anak na laki and husbands will be all over them kay legal na bitaw whom will be the major cause of family break-ups is a very wrong and twisted understanding . Those are personal convictions already .
