what i meant by racist is when you discriminate against a certain race. RACE as in different ethnicities... white, black, asian, etc... not the HUMAN RACE in general. lolx.

just for the record, HIV/AIDS didn't originate from whites. as far as i know, it came from Africa and no, i didn't originate from Africans.

in the Philippines we cannot feel what racists means but try and travel to the US, even in a small convenience shop white and black Americans look down on us Filipinos and think that we are ignorant and stupid. they are stereotypes...

To sum it up ....

- Statehood doesnt mean we become SLAVES .
- We wont lose our identity just like the HAWAIIANS and the ESKIMOS of Alaska .
- We will enjoy equality , human rights , rightful wage of what we really worked for . Though it may not be that perfect in some ways ... its way more better than what are currently facing here in th Philippines .

well said...we would just be like the aborigines in australia...in my opinion, it would be great for us to be a state of US...it's not that i dont love my own country...the spirit of being filipino would always be there.

This reply is in regards to DISCRIMINATION . Not only to you but to all those who are confused of what is DISCRIMINATION . Yes there is discrimination in the US , just like here in the Philippines also , even in your school or work . So whats the big deal on DISCRIMINATION . Ive seen MINORITIES DISCRIMINATE the MAJORITY also .
