DO YOU think that plugging the S-VIDEO cable to the TUBE TV it will show images RIGHT AWAy?
I'll show you a trick....1st.. connect the Svideo cable from laptop to TV.... 2nd Set the TV to the correct video source..... 3rd press.. Fn+F2 or Fn5.. (may vary with diff laptops) ... and something magical happens....... video on screen already...
YOU DON"T NEED TO LOWER THE RESOLUTION... lol
... what you would need to do if you want is to tweak the dual view settings to get the right color/brightness/contrast and screen position.
No wonder you advised to just buy an LCD TV.... you probably gave up when you tried connect your laptop to the TV and you couln't get it to work properly.
That must have been a very traumatic experience for you.... thats probably why you said the images aren't any good and you just bought an LCD TV.
