MAO BITAW! Okay lagi ang SUN kadtong wala pa ang 24/7 or Daylite Unlimited. It's not a glitch in the system. It is GREED. They took in more subscribers than their system can handle and made their postpaid subscribers that are tied up to a contract suffer. Now that our contract has ended they won't let us out. They charged us for extra months even after we advised them to terminate our subscription and won't terminate it not until we pay the extra months that they charged which we never used. KASABOT NA MO?!

The petition does not ask to stop Sun from operating. It asks that new subscribers not be allowed until service improves.

Some of us DON'T have a choice, like those who have POST PAID accounts. They are ALREADY PAID.

You should have thought about this before committing yourselves.
They should have let us know their service was going to DETERIORATE before getitng us to sign up!

MY POINT EXACTLY!Â* Â* It's quite funny why some people here are trying to insinuate that it is our fault why we got SUN.Â* We supposed to have the NTC for those apprehensions and the DTI to guard the consumers or possible consumers from fraud or shortchanging.

It's just like saying it is your fault why you bought a fake Levi's.Â* If this logic was true then they should no go after people or selling fakes or giving shortchanged service or engaged in fraud.

We understand that it is also the consumer's lookout but who would have thought that a supposedly ALTERNATIVE company owned by JG Summit would shortchange their subscriber's.

Daghan man gani na ilad anang mga MLM business, giant TeleCom companies pa kaha?!

LytSlpr if you want to. PM me your account details, I'll pass it up to SUN people here in Manila (they are just a few floors above, in the same building). I work for JG Summit, maybe I can help you.

Manyador, the petition if successful will temporarily bar SUN from providing service. Mao ra nang istoryaha. FYI, am a SUN subscriber but I only use it for SUN to SUN calls. So I maintain another line from another NETWORK.

Don't worry, I've already passed this on to the SUN people. I know it could be frustrating at times, but SUN is in a transistion period to improve thier network. At the very least 24/7 is here to stay for a while, and that is giving people a choice.

Same thing that CEBU PAC did (another JG Summit company). Imagine kung gipa close forever ang CEBU PAC after the crash in '98. Di hangtod karon monopoly ghapon ang friendly skies by PAL and we would not be enjoying super low airfares.

Manyador, the only way SUN can improve its service is if expands. Therefore it needs new subscribers and therefore additional revenues to support its expansion/improvement programs.

I think we should be more patient with SUN cellular. They are still growing. But the 24/7 really is something that help me stretch my budget. Its jjust a matter of choosing the right time to call. Like brian d I use 2 networks. But when I will call I am using more of the SUN than the other.

Not necessarily. Other networks have done the same without shortchanging their customers as much as Sun did. It's a matter of proper planning and financial management. Sun, however, decided to take a short cut at our expense!

Hopefully the petition will wake them up and make them realize people are not going to take this dishonesty sitting down. Then maybe they will improve.
