it's suppose to be one of the gifts of the holy spirit the apostle Paul was referring to in the Bible as speaking in "strange tongues" along with interpretation of tongues, being able to prophesy..etc
that biblical interpretation comes from Pentecostal Christians which paved its way to the Catholic Church during the Charismatic movement, ambut ug kanus-a na nagsugod basta dugay na...hehehe

kaang YFC, El shaddai, LOJ(kaang kang Bo Sanchez) kay mao nay example sa charismatic renewal groups within Catholic Church.

I'm an active YFC/SFC unfortunately wala pako katry anang gift of tongues bisag gusto ko. Pero akong mama naay gift nga ana, it's really speaking in a language directly to God (para sa believers) and pag mugawas na kay matranslate raman pud ni mama and it really fits to the problem of a person.

PS: sa mga naga reply diri sa thread ug pang-daot lang or tripping lang na post, respeto pud gamay. thanks.

Speaking in tongues in the Bible nag refer to sa time nga nag abot ang daghan tawo gikan sa lain lain lugar ug lain lain ug dialects, mao nga ang gift sa holy spirit is speaking in tongues meaning makasabot ug maka istorya sa laing pinulungan para magka sinabot sila. SAYOP nang nakita natu sa mga simbahan
