Way behind in what sense? There are many aspects of our country which I feel we're ahead and some that I feel we're clearly behind.

For instance, education, it is a known fact that we're behind other asian countries when it comes to education I don't know why since I thought we really had a robust educational system patterned after the Americans yet we lag behind based on statistics (I forgot the source, I'll post it here when I get it)

Economics wise there IS growth, but that growth ain't fast either. We're moving at a snails pace. I really do believe what can help save this country economics-wise is the influx of dollars from our nurses abroad and considering that nursing is so hot right now and that we'd be sending thousands of nurses abroad, our currency has a future. (I hope someone comments me on this to prove me right or wrong)

Politics-wise, we haven't changed. There should be change.

vietnam is already ahead of us, cambodia will be in 5 years time. even ang bangladesh will overtake philippines when it comes to economy. Philippines bagsak kaayo kay most of the politicians dili magtrabaho. Puros lang politika ug bulsa ang gihuna huna.
