I dont think ang paagi ni Duterte will work on national level. Kay didto naa na cyay ubang mga politiko na mabanggaan. He does not have the monopoly on the death squad.. Whats preventing other politicians to hire their own squad kung mabanggaan na cla. Samot ka gubot ang peace and order situation. Mao na ang style ni Digong would only work on a limited area.

i'm all for santiago if she's planning to run for presidency. akong concern is... kinsa iyang bise? given nga naa siyay problema sa iyang health. panagana lng. and please, unta dili mediocre ug performance iyang pili-on.

i also agree atong prior post nga duterte might not fit/be effective on a national level. diba wala man pud siyay plans, and naghatag pud siya ug disclaimer ahead nga magmahay nya tong gusto mobutar niya. he's actually giving us a favor. i do admire his political courage, but i daunt his nature as a person. i think dili ni siya gentle type, and might go ballistic if opportunity allows.

I think Miriam would make a good president. She knows the law, she's never afraid to speak her mind- a mind that actually thinks rationally if I may add. The only thing going against her (to me at least) is her never-ending spat with Enrile.

I was thinking Duterte at first, but the more I learned about him, the more I knew na mag-clash na sila ug ideals vs Miriam.


The last thing I want is another incompetent president like PNoy. He may have genuine intentions, but through the years I realized he's either a shameless liar or an incredibly lazy/incompetent person (see typhoon Yolanda). He's a spoiled little brat that won't admit his mistakes and his only source of pride is his family name. The only positive thing out of his presidency is his approval ratings. He seems to keep the masses happy despite all his failures- so democracy is definitely working for him. People are definitely still hung up on the 1986 People Power "Aquino" brand.

I also don't want to vote for people who are obvious businessmen (Binay) who are more likely to exploit the power of the (vice) presidency for financial gain. The more I look at the senate, it becomes easier to discern whether a particular politician is a businessman, a public servant, or an idiot.
