    sakto bani bro.

    example
    50k deposit

    date and price sa akong pagdeposit sa account
    4/30/2013 NAVPU:430
    116 shares

    i take out my investment
    5/8/2013 NAVPU:438

    438x116= 50,808
    58,808 - 50,000 = 808 gain/loss

    Not sure Bro pero basin naa gyud seguro kay banko pa pero dili nimo ma-feel kay NAVPU naman na siya. Bali kung pila imong i-invest inig-divide nimo sa NAVPU on the date of purchase mao gyud ang number of units ang mo-indicate sa COP mao dili gyud nimo ma-feel nga naa charges ang UITF kay wala man silay agent.

    has anyone tried encashing his UITF investment from the bank?
    so that we will know if there really is a 20% tax on the capital gain in actual practice.

    what happens if you lose instead of gain.. how do they deduct the 20% tax?

    Kung makasuway nako ug redeem Bro mo-feedback ko diri pero sa akong inquiry sa BDO kung unsa ang NAVPU during sa redemption, mao gyud imong makuha gain or loss ...

    based on my understanding the NAVPU already indicates the final figure (20% deducted already).
    well.. will probably find out when the time comes
