Depende sa drive sa individual dog. Ok man ang GSD for the average home. I grew up with GSD and Rottweilers. But higher ug drive ang Belgian Malinois in general. I currently have 2 Malinois na taas kaayo ug drive. The down side lang sa Malinois is that they are not easy to control. Mas mupatuo ang GSD. For me, let's say taas ug drive ang dogs imo gipili, in heirarchy it would be:

1) Doberman Pinscher
2) Belgian Malinois or Rottweiler
3) German Shepherd.

Mas mellow ug personality ang GSD, so it's a more ideal balance kay they stay protective. Stay away lang from the first three breeds mentioned above if wala moy time to devote sa socialization or training. Pitbulls, naa pud ko, but definitely not a guard dog. Pareha ra na ug Siberian Husky, ultra friendly to strangers. Mas maayo pa ako Labrador Retriever as a 'guard dog', kay suspicious kaayo ug strangers. Ang Rottweilers ug Belgian Malinois are suspicous kaayo ug strangers. Ang Doberman, gi breed na ug tuyo to guard.

Plano sad ko ani pero as a starter pra lng jud naa'y magbanha sa balay samot na gabii kay daghan bnoang mga silingan. plano nko Jack Ruselle Terrier sa usa then if mkabalhin me blay nga German Shepherd ako buhion og parisan nko Husky puhon pra naa'y yaga-yagaon nla 3.. Payts na! Xaro...!

I won't recommend Siberian Husky as guard dog. Very ineffective German Shepherd ug JRT, nice combination. Get a male. My JRT, is pinakaisog sa ako tanan dogs. They're best friends with my Belgian Malinois, puro high strung breeds. Ang Pitbull isog kaayo towards other dogs, pero bisag kinsa na stranger magpahikap siya.

Ako dachshund di na maihap ang ilaga og iring nga napatay.

Matulog ra sa buntag pero pag gabii nag cge gwardya sa balay ky nangita diay og ilaga og iring. Hehe
