One fact remains constant...we in the healthcare industry are underpaid.

For the last five years...the total salary increase i've gotten is more or less 1000.

Rates in healthcare services continue to increase...guess the strong peso is not giving these hospital owners reason to make their services affordable.

Daghan currency ang ni appreciate karun, Latest in Asia is Thailand. Apil sad ang Korea, Taiwan Phil and other countries like Columbia Romania etc etc... its a matter of how each government will step up to counter the effect of rising currency.

bro in IT self study will not be an impressive notes to your resume. it's actual working experience. i can study many programming languages but i can only put few in my resume because i haven't used them on actual projects. if i my working experience is on using powerbuilder, vb6 or foxpro and then I put in Java in my resume but only on self study, the interviewer would just laugh at me. it's more like specialization in medicine. it's not same with other fields bro.

exactly true. You can learn a lot of language but you can appreciate one or two and that's those are the one's you will use when it comes to implementing something. The bad side of self study is that you still seek proper guide especially when it comes to clarifications and enlightenment.

Since you can understand something based on the example and explanation of others like the instructor/ teacher that will be teaching you. But then again kudos to self dedication when it comes to learning things while using the resources what we have.
