That's ETHNIC DISCRIMINATION. You're basically saying Kay BISAYA man Mao Dili KAMA-O. Kay taga Manila man Mao maayong taw.
If only You have said some doctors are inexperienced w/out singling out CEBUANO DOCTORS, then everybody would have agreed with you. I myself have experienced being treated by " way klaro na mga doctor" but I have the wisdom to know that it's not because they are Cebuanos Mao wa to cla klaro na mga doctor. Likewise, I have heard of HORROR STORIES against Doctors in Manila but I do not discriminate them as inexperienced/substandard because Its not about the race or ethnicity at all. Wala Lang gyud klaro na doctor period you do not have to put the race or ethnicity of the doctor. I am against ethnic/racial discrimination. Just like how the Philippines reacted yrs ago against a US show Desperate Housewives wherein there was a scene that a patient said something like "I JUST HOPE YOU'RE NOT SOME DOCTOR FROM A MEDICAL SCHOOL in the PHILS" something like that.

Every week, maybe 2 to 3 times a week,wala pa na labot sa mga conference and seminar mag meet gyud na sila tanan. Like example mga pediatrician, naa na cla schedule na mag meeting na cla tanan para e-discuss unsa na mga unusual na mga sakit ila na encounter, how they treated it, update unsa new trends, new findings, new technology, etc. and Mao bitaw mu attend na cla sa mga conferences anywhere in the PHils and anywhere in the world para ma update.

I think the Licenses for Doctor should be RENEW by the Gov't every year
to prove their capabilities of curing patients.

But I doubt that renewing their licenses every year would be sufficient enough to JUST PROVE their capabilities Kay renewing a PRC license doesn't require a doctor to take the exam. Besides even if PRC requires them to take exams, sayon ra Kaayo na para nila ang written exams. Kung mag require ang gobyerno ug practical/actual exam, naa ba kahay mo volunteer na pasyente mag pa experiment/trial and error?

I'm NOT Discriminating Cebu Doctors but its a SAD Reality
that almost half of the people that I encounter in the hospital
Brag and talk about their experiences encounter with the Doctors.

Sadly most are Not good results, some patient dies .

Some Manila Doctor are also NOT good and i have also known it
BUT their know how are higher than provinces area.

Even some results in Cebu Hospital should be send to manila for analyze

sad to say that the patient have died already but the diagnosis is not yet release.


I even know some patient just transfer to Manila Hospital for treatment
since the doctor here don't know how to cure.

Honestly the patient almost dies at the hospital in Cebu and it just happen on this year 2012.

Luckily the patient has survived and is gaining consciousness in Manila Hospital...

I care for Cebu since this is the place that i was born..

The person that cares never be blinded by what is reality

Ignaz Philipp Semmelweis (July 1, 1818 – August 13, 1865), a Hungarian doctor who theorized and even observed that “handwashing” could reduce infection and death. He was fondly called the “saviour of mothers” after the reduce of mortality death in obstetrical clinics.

Semmelweis gave instructions to interns to wash hands with chlorinated solutions after performing embalming or have touched cadavers. This reduced deaths in the hospital.

Even then, Semmelweis’s hypothesis was generally ignored and maligned by his fellow doctors. He was even sent to a mental hospital where he later died 14 days later. The cause of death reportedly was septicemia, but he was possibly beaten to death by prison guards.

Naa man giingon nga health is a multi-factorial phenomenon. So dili nato ma single-out kada usa ka factor nga mao ra gyuy hinungdan sa illness. Kung ang mga kahinaman pud nga vailable sa treatment sa patient limited ra, maglisod sad sa treatment ang doctor. Kung walay ikapalit sa tambal ang pasyente, maglisod sad ug treat sa sakit ang doctor.

Kanang handwashing nga theory, dugay na na. Sa kaniadtong panahon, gi-ignore na kay wala pa man kaayo matotoki ug maayo ang influence sa prevention of diseases by simple handwashing. Doctors are not gods. Whoever thought that for a minute is crazy- pardon me for the language. They're humans like you and me but who went through a lot of study and training to diagnose and to treat patients. Diseases do not always behave or manifest like stated in medical books so diagnosing them can be very hard. That's why as doctors gain more experience and see more cases they become better at their field. Some specialize further so they may be more qualified to treat certain conditions especially those that are more complicated or advanced like cancer.

first and foremost, what gives a person the right to call another person dumb if they don't have the same career? i believe you can call a person dumb if both of you have the same line of duty. and for this matter, both of you are doctors, MD. and much more, you can call him/her a dumb doctor if you are way higher in rank or credibility (FPSP, FPCS etc.) and ofcourse that other person is under your heirarchy (say your the consultant and his your resident).
