    Very delicate man kaha ang iyang li-og? Wont it be more dangerous to fly her pa to the doctor rather than stay put ra sya then anhaon ra sya sa doctor?

    Murag gi mingaw na si Arroyo sa Le Cirque' dah. Please ... lets not Choke on her lies...
    Same answer as previous. In the eyes of law, what's the difference between her and other innocent people? If its dangerous to let her fly due to her condition then that's her call. Iyaha manang pagbuot, they cannot simple intervene. If the government cannot prove her lies, why stop her? Such a big question on why we failed on this part? Think about that.

    she still has to face charges against her... she may be out on bail but is a flight risk.

    Ngano bitaw himo himo sya anang Memorandum Circular 41 unya karon siya ra diay nabiktima.

    You cant twist the rules to ur advantage... which is what she essentially did thru her influence sa SC.

    Arroyo is like a chess opponent that keeps changing the rules to her advantage... then were all supposed to play fair with her? I dont think she deserves that treatment.

    So whats the difference between Arroyo and Yogie Martirizar?

    - Ironically Martizar suffers from thesame endocrine disorder as Arroyo.

    - Like Arroyo, Martirizar was also charged with electoral sabotage and has been banned from leaving the country by a watchlist order issued by Arroyo's government then.

    So why the double standard? why prevent Martirizar from leaving then... change the rules with a TRO and then Allow Arroyo to leave na now?

    Arroyo essentially set the initial rules but changed the rules to suit her convenience.... and were supposed to follow those new rules now...

    I dunno about you but im not falling for it.

    Major flight risk. The US is very close to the Dominican Republic which she visited frequently. The Dominican Republic is known as a haven for offshore banking and has no extradition treaty with Philippines. I would suspect that the excuse of political persecution would be used for not returning home.

    What's the difference between them is that Yogie Martirizar's counsel didn't question the validity of DOJ's Dept. Cir. No. 41 to restrain her (Martirizar) to travel. The Cir. No. was made for those "cases falling within the jurisdiction of courts below the RTC as well as those pending determination by government prosecution offices". Yet her case was heared at Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 114. Likewise Arroyo's case was heared at Pasay City RTC Branch 112. Thus, only the RTC judge has the right to issue HDO and WLO. The HDO and WLO issued by the DOJ had no legal basis.

    WHEREAS, while several Supreme Court circulars, issued through the Office of the Court Administrator, clearly state that "Hold Departure Order shall be issued only in criminal cases within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Regional Trial Courts," said circulars are, however, silent with respect to cases falling within the jurisdiction of courts below the RTC as well as those pending determination by government prosecution offices;

    Hmmm... this is something to look forward to. But then again, their lawyer Ferdie Topacio denied the allegations that "Arroyo's are holders of Dominican Passports, nor have they sought political asylum in any country". Likewise the Dominican Republic's Foreign Minister.

    MANILA, Philippines (AP) — The Dominican Republic's foreign minister has denied reports from Philippine officials that former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has requested asylum in the Caribbean nation.

    Carlos Morales Troncoso told The Associated Press in the Dominican Republic Friday that they have not received an application for asylum from Arroyo.
