Well, the way I see it, this is a diversion while Gloria is still out and the government agencies tasked to 'keep' her in prison seem to not know what to do yet. Nya napun.an pa nga ang sandigan bayan kay dili mu.issue ug arrest warrant nya gibalik sa ombudsman ang kaso nga plunder. Myentras tanto nga nagpangita ug paagi si Pnoy para mabalik si Gloria sa prisohan (kay mao raba jud ni ang pinakadako niyang accomplishment so far), kang de Castro lang sa ang attention. Awa di ba namingaw ang thread sa presidente kay dia diri ang action. Maaay sad....

For whatever negative comments noli de castro or any broadcaster says against pnoy administration he should have just address the issue and not bicker with the commentator. he is too onion-skinned for a president. he does not seem to know how to accept criticisms.

it is the presidents duty to make his country men love her country above others.. that's why kontra kaayo ni noynoy ang negativisms..

constructive criticisms is good,
constructive criticisms + alternative solutions being offered is better..

negativism is definitely bad for the country.. if we want to move forward, we need a collective national psyche which is pro-government.. and pro-improvement..

Is this really his duty? For someone who has a way of articulating positive arguments regarding the way the president works, this is kinda shallow.

Wouldn't it be better if the president sat down and worked towards improving the conditions (economic and political) in the country SO THAT the citizens will love him and consequently feel better about their country? That way the 'psyche' as you described is achieved?

Negativism is a result of what someone sees 'on the ground' and not from sugar coated speeches or scathing but misplaced frankness. It comes from what is seen in the whole picture and not just from a barrel vision focused at a news reader, an ex-president, a chief justice or whoever is perceived as an enemy.

Your positivism is merely a state of mind that may only last for so long.
