Another stupid notion of the elitist. "If they can afford a motorcycle, surely they can afford a helmet."
A very dumb logic of someone out of touch with reality

If that's the case then every household should have a CCTV camera, after all... if they can afford a house, surely they could afford a CCTV Camera. Or better yet, if they can afford a house, they can surely afford the tuition fee of private schools. And the list goes on on what they can afford since they can afford a house.

Or ngano nagreklamo ng automobile owners sa rising price of Gasoline? Naka.afford gani silag sakyanan.

Nag text mi with each other ni atty aguilos the other night and nagpa salamat ko niya nga gi "defer" niya ang pag strictly implement after our joint radio interview. We cannot stop LTO from implementing this but i already suggested to them to start outside cebu city coz pwerteng daghana didto wala mag helmet, bisag nag exist na ang karaan nga national law on helmets. Diri gamay nalang kaayo wala mag helmet kay strikto pagka implement ang helmet ordinance nga gi specify na daan dili pwede ang construction, bicycle, and non-motorcycle helmet. I also told them during our CITOM board meeting that they BETTER NOT cause traffic while implementing this like sometimes they do with ther checkpoints. I am a rider also with an old vmax using a NOLAN helmet given to me from the US with NO DTI or ICC sticker. I can easily not go to DTI and let someone else do it for me but even then i wont cause of what i feel about this law. I hope you dont take it against me for venting out how i feel on ISTORYA and i apologize for the confusion this may hav caused. Have a Great Weekend.

    - he needs to maintain a good rep while the 99% of the riders needs to maintain the monthly installments of the motorbikes/rent/utilities/loansharks/f**king taxes
    - a good-ass helmet's price is good for 1-month installment of our motorcycles...
    - ug uban pa
