I have to disagree with your second claim. In terms of apps, walay dag-anan hinuon jud ang wp sa android, but in terms of user-friendliness wp trumps android. Simple ra kaayo jud ang UI sa wp, even akong nanay dali ra nya nasabtan ang interface sa wp. Android's UI is a lot more complicated kay daghan tweaks and buttons kinahanglan masabtan, dili sya angay sa mga non-tech savvy na tigulang. Ang akong ante intawn iya jud gidala sa amung balay iyang hauwei na gingerbread kay dili sya kaantigo muopen ug message. Gipalitan man sya sa iyang anak ug touchscreen na phone, naglisod intawn ang tigulang gamit. Hehe
if ur from symbian, your surely miss useful features from it. WP makes u miss symbian.
no to lumia because it cannot send files directly via bluetooth
supports only limited format of video files
downloading of music is only applicable via zune (i guess)
no OTG
no internet sharing (lumia 800 and lower)
in short, it has lots of restrictions. very similar to iOS.
but if those restrictions are not a big deal, den go to WP
about the internet sharing 610 already has it for 710 and 800 you just nee to update it to tango
Nokia Lumia 710, 800 to get internet sharing in WP 7.5 Tango - GSMArena.com news
i dont know if ios or android also support bluetooth file sharing you could easily do it with skydrive or any other cloud service
and no your not limited to zune for the music service
skydrive needs internet connection. it suck if your speed is very slow. nothing beats file sharing via BT.
its good to know that they're slowly applying some features in symbian.
yup need gyud connection nokia has exclusive apps for the lumia line mostly symbian apps/features for the windows phone like nokia drive nokia maps etc and city lens looks pretty cool

how much ang lumia 610 ?. .
Yes, WP is a closed system but I don't miss Symbian. The performance, ease of use, social network integration more than make up for WP's limitations. Besides, there are workarounds and alternatives to such limitations. WP7 is not for everyone jud hinuon, especially not for people who like to tinker around a lot with their phones.
Skydrive is pretty useful in my case since almost always naa ko sa mga lugar na naay wifi.
I've only encountered 2 video files na dili madetect sa Zune, both xvids. Strangely kadtong other xvid files, mudetect ug mu-play man without a hitch. A video converter solves the problem. It's a bit inconvenient but not at all a dealbreaker.
Tethering is an expected update para sa Lumia 800, though not very useful in our area kay hinay kaayo ang 3g diria.
Overall, the Lumia satisfies MY needs, and it performs its daily task smoothly and efficiently. And di jud ko sum-ulan sa iya design. Elegant kaayo.
