Agree. I also do not support the cause. I joined the bandwagon however because I think doing a couple of shares, tweets, status updates or what have you, do not make a difference. America(or Obama) is not that stupid to follow some one-sided, indie, documentary film maker's views. Convincing as it may be political leader do not simply make decisions based on the number of social media activity.

I do commend the group's strategy in making this Kony (in)famous. Filipino activists should try to use the same strategy instead of always going to the streets adding to the already frustrating traffic.

Americans are famous in doing these kinds of fund raising. They see something and then ila dayon na take advantage. I've known many American's like missionaries or NGO's. Sample - kita sila ug street children they take tons of pictures and they go back didto sa US and show people the pics and add some drama sa presentation. People are moved by their presentation and decide to DONATE not even researching kung asa padung ila money. Makadawat lagi ang uban pero they do not know who they were supporting.

We're helping Aeta's in the Panay Island nya daghan kaayo mo take ug pics ani nila and organize 'feeding' events para 'show off' nga they're helping. They promised the Aeta's they would help only to find out that they are keeping the money and not giving anything sa mga Aeta's. Sila ra ang na-datu! So after wala na mi nisugot nga naa mo take ug pics.

Almost the same ni gibuhat sa Invisible Children. How many donated just because of the video? Millions I bet. But do we really know unsa nahitabo sa money? I'm wondering if the more we DONATE to them mas madakpan si Kony? The video even said that part sa money will be for the production costs.

Daghan natu wa gani kibaw whether tinuod ba na ang accusations. We should have done our research before we jump and say "He's EVIL." I'm not trying to defend him all I'm trying to say is be wise and find out the truth first.

Daghan pa uban nga things that also needs attention. Who knows the group of "Invisible Children" will make another video nasad... ikaw na ang starring.. hahaha..
