i heard most sabahan's dont like malaysia either... if thats the case.. we cannot just march in and take it, according to UN the people will have to do a referendum vote weither they stay with malaysia, philippines or to be an independent state... so if thats the case... id rather help them to be a independent state... rather than let malaysia have it... there was even a call to secede from the federation... afaik it is what oplan merdeka is intended for to disrupt sabah via rebellion to secede from malaysia then PH will come in to completely annex the area... sounds familliar? it is, just like what happen to Crimea...
