I understand but the evidence is not strong enough. Let's just say we are 99% that it was GMA on that tape but the thing is that it was illegally acquired. Let's say it was legally acquired but the conversation as what political and social analysts say "is inconclusive." So legally, they cannot pin GMA with that tape and now it was discovered that there were pay-offs and coercion in obtaining that tape by the opposition thus political. Political meaning it was done in bad faith or with malice. That means they are not really doing it for the truth and general good but for their personal interest and not for the entire nation in general. Then if this is their real objective then I might as well play deaf and dumb with GMA's tape. Do you with all your idealism actually think that if GMA will step down or will be ousted from office, they will put in a much BETTER and COMPETENT leader? OF COURSE NOT! They did not spend and go to all this trouble if they will not be the DIRECT BENEFICIARIES from it. Mao bitaw sige na sila ug saba-saba ug panglagaw karon. As what they ALWAYS do.

BOTTOMLINE is that it's hard for them to convince the intellecual and the right people or sector to support them despite the tape being allegedly real because they have ZERO-CREDIBILITY.

Now, if you really want GMA to step down or be ousted or you really want genuine change or whatever, I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE you that it won't be on this ticket. Perhaps next time...

Ang conversation nakuha possibly in bad faith, but does it prove that the person being attacked is innocent? When Chavit cried out loud naa to siya'y personal interest, but does it prove ERAP he is not guilty.

The conversation that took place is a violation. What her business talking to Garci? Is she a customer... Guinadili ang pakig-istorya sa usa ka kandidato sa usa ka opisyal.

IMO the reason why is hard to convince the "intellectual" because of their personal biases, bec. this are the people who voted for GMA.

2) She cheated in the last elections (teaming with Garcillano)
