See you guys then! I only have a few books, maybe less than 10( got heck of e books in my e reader, just tell me if you guys want a copy pero i miss the physical feeling of the hard copy books)
Karon listening to an audio book George Orwell -"1984"
Just asking, what genre you guys are usually into?
Hehe I find it amusing that we'll be meeting on Sunday, 2pm at a cafe called Sunday 2pm cafe. Wala lang.
Hanskie, I'm also looking for 1984 in hard copy. I have a weird thing about books. If I deem them special, I would go out of my way to buy them in hard copy but if they're something I just want for fleeting entertainment, I would go for ebooks or audio books. Right now I'm reading the Hunger Games trilogy in ebook.
As for genre, my favorite would be speculative fiction. Science fiction that doesn't involve space ships, alternate universes, dystopian futures, a present or a past that is very much unlike the real one. Or fiction that deals with the macabre. Those written by Isaac Asimov, or stories in the Philippine Speculative Fiction books. I read other genres at times.
Now that I think about it, this is a far cry from someone who used to read Sweet Valley, Nancy Drew and historical romances back in her school days![]()
I have 1984, but it's paperback.
Sorry, double post. Slow connection today...
ako i'm into nonfiction. love biographies. but read a Milan Kundera book and just fell in love with his style! kung naa mo diha manghulam ko
