Oh my, bacn nailad pod tngay kog in.ani saona. My OB prescribed me med for my UTI (was pregnant then) it costs 500 pesos each, I bought one. bacn mahal ra kau to iya price tngay. her secretary told me nga I cannot buy it in any pharmacy it is only available in her clinic.

It doesn't hurt to find out.

Now I know There's also corrupt doctors, aside from corrupt government officials. hahays.

Hello everyone!

Share lang nako kay na imbyerna akong beauty!

I had this very itchy patch on my left arm which really got worst and spread throughout my arms. It was like an allergic reaction. I decided to see a DERMATOLOGIST since taking an Antihistamine and wiping cream/ointment did NO GOOD to me or to the skin allergy.

And so there I was in this certain DERMA CLINIC in the UPTOWN area.

The DERMA came in at about 3PM in the afternoon. After filling up the patient form with all the needed details and after 1 patient she entertained, it was then my turn.

The SECRETARY/ASSISTANT came in together with me and checked the lesion too. The doctor only took a short look and directly went to her clinic table to make a prescription. At first, I thought she was only going to make me a prescription but then later on, the secretary started pulling things out of the doctor's cabinet and putting it on her table. From Soap to ointment to powder to tablets. All in all was worth PHP 3,000 more or less. But after further reviewing of said products, I already had same products at home, but only GENERIC. But actually, GENERIC named medicines with different BRAND NAMES and PRICES have THESAME EFFECTIVITY. And so, using my knowledge in MEDICINE, I opted not to take the other items except for the ANITIHISTAMINE PILLS which he prescribed me.

The Antihistamine pills she prescribed me she said were very much effective. Each pill costs PHP 30. And so I took them nalang and paid for the pills (5 packets) and the professional fee.

When I went back to MY WORK PLACE (Dental Clinic) to take the said pill, after having one with a glass of water, I read on the PACKET the following:

"SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE"

Gosh! I paid PHP 300 for SAMPLES that the DERMA prescribed me!

What hit me the most was that I was a doctor myself and I would never do that! Samples are samples! Samples are DEFINITELY NOT FOR SALE! No wonder she did not have that much patient in her clinic.

Mao na ang sulti na ang GABA dili mag SABA! Karma nalang mag igo!

bRO dili man to KILID SA DALAN hehehe! Not only DERMA's ang mag practice na DILI LICENSED! Even ang mga DENTIST's naay daghan nag practice as DENTIST but not LICENSED and I know some. Mao btaw na nga important sa recibo or sa prescription nga naay PRC LICENSE # unta below the signature. Unfortunately with the derma who I went to, she only directly gave the tablets and NO PRESCRIPTION since all the items she PRESCRIBED me was just in her CLINIC!

Bossing, when we are facing a doctor man gud, usually SALIG gyud ta that we are in GOOD hands! Unfortunately, natunong lang gyud ko sa DOCTOR na pasaway! And besides, I myself do not do that thing that she did so mao sad to na wala sad na padpad sa akong mind to check it before leaving. Mao na toinx kaayo! Cge nalang! Charge to experience!

sa una nag pa check ko ug "derm clinic" due to my vitiligo, it was my very first consultation with a derma, i started to doubt if he is really a doctor when he told me that the name of this skin discease is ( i frgot what he mentioned)...then kuha siya ug book, read it for a while then he said refering to a picture, "mao ni ingon ani,,vitiligo. ang first niya gi mention its far from the word vitiligo hehe..murag ga tag-an tag-an lang..since naa naman jud ko sa iyang clinic sakay2x nalang ko sa iyang istorya, then next mao sad with what TS said kuha sad ug mga creams, ointments etc,, ky ibaligya...i didnt get anything....since then likay najud ko anang mga derm clinics outside a reputable hospital...since then sa perpetual succour najud ko mag pa consult ug derma..sure pa

I dont think its the medreps who are to blame here.. I just want you to know that we give doctors samples for free.. in mind that she/he gives this for free to his/her patients.. If the doctors did sell a sample, we dont have any control with that! then next time make sure that you check what you are buying..
